Annie's P.O.V

The weekend passed by really slowly. At least I had seen my mum, and she looked so stressed. I had only seen her once throughout the weekend, as she was in her room the entire time.

It was Monday now. I was off to school, and this time, I didn't stay long at mum2's house, as I only grabbed a lunch pack, kissed her goodbye and hurried off. She was filling that void that my mum is leaving since she started working.

On getting to school, I found Bryan seated on his special bench, with his friends, and they were talking and laughing. I walked up to them with confidence. Maybe, the confidence was as a result of Bryan telling me that he likes me, or was it something else? Who knows?

“Hey". I said to his friends, then fixed my eyes on him. ”Bry, can we talk?". I asked.

The look he gave me was quite unsettling, yet I remained there, waiting for his response. His friends were looking at him. I know that look.
