The girl was just about to ask about ‘mommy’ when Cade without saying anything immediately disconnected.

Trembling, Pricilla gripped her cell phone so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

Who is this mommy? Was there a nanny? Oh, Pricilla was getting very curious. And angry. She couldn’t possibly direct that anger at Cade. It was useless. She would only burn herself. It was the nanny who would be the target of her anger.
