A soft and sweet voice suddenly whispered in my ears which instantly pushed my heart to pump in hysterical. It only took two words for this man to make me feel the butterflies fighting inside my stomach.

I slowly nodded my head which instantly put a smile on his face. I saw him move closer to me before lifting his hands and carefully caressing my chin.

I carefully raised my head after remembering a woman shouting a while back and confirmed that it was really my mom who was glaring at me.

If only we were in an anime scene, her eyes would already be burning and a smoke would be coming out from her nose because of anger.

“M-mom?” I called but she only slapped my back which I admit that hurts like h*ll.

“Awh!” I cried in pain while caressing my back, hoping that it will help in making the pain go away. “Why did you do that?!”

“Are you really asking me that you lazy lady? It is already 7 A.M. in the morning and you will be late for school. In case you forgot it is Monday today!”

Aish, I enjoyed the weekend so much that I almost forgot I still have to go to school. Haays, if only time could flew so fast.

“Myrtle, are you done? Come down stairs and eat breakfast!”

“All right mommy!” I yelled back before proceeding to my usual morning routine.

After a while I hurriedly went downstairs to find my parents who were already at the dining table, waiting for me.

“Mommy, daddy I am already late for school. I will just take a sandwich to go,” I quickly said my good byes and hurriedly went out of the house before they start advising me again for 10 minutes.

Haaay, they always do that every morning that I already memorized every word they say!
