Emilia Abel - POV

“What is your name?” he asked me a few minutes later.

“Emilia Abel. And you?” I asked him.

“Mateo Benjamin,” he said, and I nodded my head as I looked out through the window. “So, which pack are you from?” Gamma Benjamin questioned when I felt my blood run cold. I didn't know what to say as I blankly stared out at the many trees we last by.

“Somewhere in the east.” I vaguely answered. When I saw a frown appear on his face. He didn't ask anything more.

Thirty minutes later, Gamma Benjamin turned into a narrow lane into the forest, which soon widened to reveal a huge iron gate with a few warriors standing guard. As we stopped in front of the gates, a warrior approached our car. “Gamma Benjamin, who is this woman?” the warrior questioned as he stared at me.

“She is with me. We are going to meet the Alpha,” he replied, the warrior nodded his head, and the gates were soon opened for us to pass inside. I have only heard rumors about the Red Stone pack because no one has really been in here, but I think certain rumors are true as I stared out into the town we drove through.

There were shops, boutiques, and restaurants on either side of the two-way road while the small town was bustling with people. The building was constructed out of concrete and bricks and painted in various shades of pastel colors, giving the entire town a vibrant look.

“You look like you have never seen a town before,” Gamma Benjamin commented.

“I have never seen a town as vibrant and beautiful as this one.” I asserted when I turned around to face the Gamma. “Where are the houses?” I asked him when a proud look crossed his face.

“Our pack is the largest in this country, Miss. Abel. So we have a town and a housing community a few miles from here.” he said when I realized the town coming to an end. There was a signboard on the road that had two arrows, one pointing to the left and the other pointing to the right.

The one on the left had the word pack house written on it, while the one on the right had houses written on it. Gamma Benjamin turned to the left, and we drove down the lonely road. Five minutes later, I saw one of the biggest pack houses I have ever seen.

It must be at least ten storeys tall, constructed in concrete and glass, giving it a modern and rustic feel at the same time. Gamma Benjamin drove up the driveway and parked my car right behind an SUV. “Let's head inside,” he said as he turned off the engine and got out. I grabbed my handbag and got down as well.

He walked up the few steps and went right into the pack house while I followed him. As we walked in, I saw a staircase in front of me, and there were two hallways on either side. We took the hallway to the right. There was nothing in here except for closed doors when Gamma Benjamin stopped in front of a door that had a golden nameplate on it that read Alpha Lucas Sanders.

Gamma Benjamin lightly knocked on the door a few times when I heard a faint come in. As he opened the door and walked inside, I saw Alpha Sanders was swarmed with work. “Did you…” he stopped midway when his eyes locked with mine. “Who is she, Mateo?” Alpha Sanders asked.

“This is the woman who saved Andres, Lucas.” he introduced, but he didn't say anything. An eerie silence settled in the room when I realized that they were speaking through the mind link.

“What pack are you from, Miss Abel?” Alpha Sanders asked me when my eyes briefly looked at Gamma Benjamin before I settled my glance at Alpha Sanders. From the brief time I have known him, I figured out that Gamma Benjamin is a hot-headed person, and I don't think I could tell about my pack with him in the room.

“I…I, Alpha…” I kept stammering when Alpha Sanders looked at his Gamma.

“Could you go and check on Andres, Mateo?” Alpha Sanders asked him, and even though Gamma Benjamin looked a little wary of me, he nodded his head as he walked outside. When the door closed behind me, Alpha Sanders gestured for me to take a seat.

“Tell me.”

“I am from the Winter Moon pack, Alpha Sanders,” I said. He didn't utter a word for a long time when he closed the file he was reading and leaned back on his chair.

“And from your scent, I could tell that you are now a rogue,” he said, and I nodded my head. “What happened, Miss. Abel? Were you banished from the pack?” he asked me with suspicion when I abruptly shook my head.

“No! I…I left my pack.”

“Miss. Abel,” he said when I looked at him. “I value my pack’s safety first, so I want you to tell me the exact reason why you left your pack.”

“I ran away from my mate, Alpha Sanders.” I finally told him as I looked down at my fingers.

“Who is your mate?”

“Gamma Luis Knight,” I said, and when I looked up, I saw his eyes widen in shock. “I know you must think I am an idiot for leaving such a man. But I couldn't take it anymore, Alpha Sanders.” I whispered as the tears began flowing down my cheeks. “We have been together for almost a year, and I received nothing but abuse and hatred from him and his girlfriend. It was not easy to live like that, so I finally decided to reject him and move on in my life.” I said, but Alpha Sanders didn't look surprised.

“I had seen him bring his girlfriend to the annual gala last year. But I thought she was his mate.” Alpha Sanders said when a sarcastic smile formed on my face.

  • Beta Andres Rodriguez   Chapter 41

Emilia Abel - POVI know I should not be mad right now. I don't even deserve to cry because we only have a contract mating bond, but I don't why, I felt like someone was repeatedly stabbing me in my heart. “Because he is our mate.” Silver stated as I furiously wiped away the tears and marched out of the pack house. “Miss. Abel?” I was walking towards Andres’s house when I heard Daisy’s voice, which made my steps flatter when she soon joined me. “So, it's true?” she asked me when I nodded my head as I came to a stop. The sun had already set on the horizon while the entire place was engulfed by the darkness that the night sky brings along. A sarcastic smile appeared on my face while my hand unconsciously cupped my belly. I don't know where I belong anymore. Luis made sure that I would never dream of going back to my old pack, and Andres made sure that I never thought about having a mate again. But among all this grief, I think the moon goddess has blessed me with the one happiness th

  • Beta Andres Rodriguez   Chapter 40

Beta Andres Rodriguez - POVAs we walked into the ultrasound room, a nurse helped Elizabeth climb onto the bed when Doctor Quinn walked in a few minutes later. He walked towards her and he was about to close the curtain when I held it. “You can start without closing the curtains, doctor Quinn,” I told him. Elizabeth is a star manipulator and I don't want her doing anything that would ruin this for me. The nurse helped Elizabeth lift her shirt and even though I was praying that she was faking this pregnancy, I was shocked to see that she was indeed pregnant. The nurse applied some sort of gel on her belly, when the doctor started the machine and began moving the wad around her belly while my eyes were glued to the monitor. I already have enough problems right now and I don't want this either. “There is your baby, Miss. Ross.” doctor Quinn finally said after a while as he pointed to the monitor. A loving smile appeared on her face while I stood frozen in my place. “Do you want to hea

  • Beta Andres Rodriguez   Chapter 39

Emilia Abel - POVIt's been a few days since Luis had come to the Red Stone pack, and even though Andres had sent him out, I was still on edge. Doctor Quinn’s words kept echoing in my head as I fidget with my pen. “Miss. Abel?” I looked up to see Daisy standing near my open door with two mugs of coffee. “Why do you still look tensed?” she asked me when I waved her off. She walked to my desk and placed one of the coffee mugs in front of me as I took a sip. “It's just the nerves and the stress, Daisy. Anyway, did you talk to the florist?” I asked her as I looked down at the file I was reading. The wedding of my first client is tomorrow morning, and I still have a lot to finish.“Yes, he said he is at the venue right now. But he would like to have your opinion as well, Miss. Abel.” she told me when I nodded my head. “Do I have any more appointments for the day?” I asked her when she shook her head. “We can go and check out the venue if you are ready,” she told me, and I nodded my hea

Emilia Abel - POVTears rolled down my cheeks as I got up from the bed and held his hand. “Thank you so much, Doctor Quinn,” I told him when he nodded his head. “But once Gamma Knight leaves this pack, I want you to tell Beta Rodriguez about this. Do you understand?” he asked me, and I nodded my head. Knock knock. “Come in.” Doctor Quinn called while he pulled the curtain that covered me from view when I saw the nurse walk inside with Beta Rodriguez and Luis. I was lying back down on the bed when Doctor Quinn walked outside. “Please take a seat in here. You can take a look at this screen while I do the ultrasound. And if she is pregnant, you would be able to see that, all right?” he asked when they both nodded their heads as the nurse walked to stand beside me. I didn't know how he was going to show them that I was not pregnant when I saw the nurse spread a cold gel on my belly while Doctor Quinn took his wad and began moving it around my belly. Throughout the process, my heart wa

  • Beta Andres Rodriguez   Chapter 37

Emilia Abel - POV“You are correct, Beta Rodriguez. But you know the rules, if she is found pregnant with my child, then you are supposed to give up your bond with her.” Luis mocked when I felt like someone knocked the air out of my lungs. I felt my hold on Andres's arm tightened when he didn't say anything. Alpha Sanders walked towards us while his eyes were locked with mine. “Are you suggesting she might be pregnant, Gamma Knight?” Alpha Sanders asked Luis when a smile appeared on his face as he turned around to face Alpha Sanders. “I am not suggesting, Alpha Sanders. I am certain that she should be pregnant with my child. After all, it's been a month since we had sex.” Luis said as he turned around to face me. “Am I right, Emilia?” “If she was pregnant with your child, she should have shown signs of pregnancy, Gamma Knight.” Andres finally spoke.“And you are telling me she did not show any signs?” Luis questioned when Andres nodded his head. “If she did, I would have sent her

  • Beta Andres Rodriguez   Chapter 36

Emilia Abel - POV“Miss. Abel?” I was broken out from my train of thought when I saw Daisy standing in front of my desk with a stack of files in her hand. “I have been calling your name for quite some time. Are you all right?” she asked me when a forced smile appeared on my face as I nodded my head. “I am just distracted. What is it, Daisy?” I asked her as she placed the files in front of me and stepped back. “These files need your signature. And I also wanted to know if I should schedule your appointment with Doctor Quinn today,” she asked me when a frown formed on my face. “He called the office earlier, and he asked if you would be coming to meet him.” she clarified when I nodded my head. I don't know how am I going to meet him now. I am pregnant with Luis’s child, and he will be coming here today, if this information gets out, I know that Andres would not even stop Luis from taking me back home with him. “That would not be needed. If the condition gets worse I will go and visit
