Lance's pov

My sources informed me that someone had raided Alpha Raymond's territory and captured him. It was truly shocking that a ruthless wolf got tamed, but who did that? Either way, it wasn't a good thing. If someone stronger than him had arrived, he would only bring destruction along with him.

I decided to take Ivory back to her pack since that was the only place where she could be safest of all. In her condition, it was difficult for her to shift and run through the dense forests. I had given her a ride the entire journey. We left the town before dawn and reached the territory of the crystal moon pack at dusk.

My body shook and I was returned to my human form again.

"I am so sorry, Lance. You had to carry me the entire time. Sometimes I feel that I am a burden on your shoulders…" She had tears in her eyes and I cannot see her breaking down anymore.
