Alpha Aaron

“Once you find him, kill him on the spot." I instructed my men before Henry and I strode into the club.

The place was breezy with few people. It was still early, and the club had just resumed its night duty. I wouldn't have been here if not for a bastard who stole my diamonds and thought he could run away with them.

Henry and I headed straight to the bar, ignoring the hot chicks clawing to get a client for the night. My eyes glanced at a woman in a pretty floral dress at the end of the counter. She drank up a shot, grimanced and requested another one.

“Two night berries," Henry ordered, sliding into one of the stools. He looked more distressed than I was. After the diamond robbery, he hasn't brought himself to rest. He was my right-hand man and enforcer of our Mafia organization. Due to his terrifying status in the Mafia, he couldn't accept that a thief had gone past him without noticing.

“Chill out a little, Hen. I am pretty sure we will find him here," I said, trusting the Intel that gave me about the thief's location.

“Yeah, when he is found. I am going to fucking break his legs and make him eat it." Henry downed his shot once.

The only thing I was concerned about was retrieving the diamond stone the thief had stolen. I had only three days to stop the pack's curse from activating, and that diamond was the only way to stop it.

If not for my sister's carelessness, that thief would have never gone away alive. I drank my shot and requested another one while scanning the room for the thief.

I suddenly felt a lump on my arm, and Henry nudged me to look behind. I turned to meet the prettiest doe eyes staring up at me wide.

“Can I talk to you?" She was the woman at the corner in a floral dress. “I am a little bored and don't have anybody to talk to." She leaned forward and whispered. “My husband kicked me out, and my parents won't accept me back into the house."

I stared at her blankly, unable to find the right word to reply to her. Henry cleared his throat and nudged me to say something, but I remained silent.

Her face suddenly changed, and her eyes watered with tears. She broke down before I could fathom a word to say to her. Talking to a woman, aside from banging them against a wall, was difficult for me to do. This woman was the kind who needed emotional support, and I couldn't give that. I have never given any woman that before.

“You dumbass, don't just sit here and look dead. Talk to her," Henry mumbled in a low, annoyed tone.

“Why would I do that?" I asked, a little bit confused.

“Look at her neck piece." He pointed out, and I looked to see that it was a part of the diamond stone we were looking for.

“So what? You want me to yank it off her neck?" I questioned, but he shook his head, clearly pissed.

“Fucking talk to her and coax her with sweet words to give you the necklace. We don't have much time left. If we don't find the diamond stone tonight, kiss your damn prick goodbye," Henry reminded me of the curse.

I quickly grabbed the crying woman's stool and pulled her towards me with a force that made her crash into my chest.

“You said you were bored. Fortunately, I need entertainment." I smiled slightly, and she beamed instantly.

“Really!"

“Yeah."

"Okay, it's a sad story, though. My husband brought back his ex-girlfriend from high school, back home with a kid who looked exactly like him. He didn't hesitate to present a divorce document to me after I found out he was cheating on me in a public mall." She beat her chest, downing another cocktail.

“He is a total bastard for abandoning a beautiful woman like you for cheap shit," I cursed at her ex, and she giggled joyously.

“Do you know what is funny about this? He doesn't know that I am the key to his inheritance. His grandma would only pass down her wealth to him if he were married to me. This..." She held out the diamond necklace. “I made this," she mumbled, and I frowned.

She must be badly heartbroken to believe she can make diamonds. Just then, she brings out another diamond stone from her purse and shows it to me.

“Where did you get this?" I asked, staring at the diamond stone.

“I have a secret no one knows," she whispered, coming closer than she already was. “My tears turn to diamonds when I cry." She giggled, sitting back on her stool.

She must be joking. Her secret is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my decades.

If only she knew how important those diamonds were, she wouldn't make such a joke about it.

“You don't believe me," she said, staring at me intently.

“No, diamonds don't come from tears, sweetie. They are mined," I corrected, but she didn't take my answer lightly.

She squeezed her eyes shut and opened them again. Tears rolled down her face and hit the counter hard.

My brows widened in surprise as those drops drastically formed into a solid.

Diamonds. Her fucking tears turned into diamonds.

I woke up to a steaming bath, my nails being polished and my hair scrubbed, what the? “You were out cold from a fever” a sweet voice said. It felt like death, sis. I turned to see who owned it. Aaron. But it wasn't Aaron, he wasn't a mesmerising woman with long flowy hair, wondrous skin and an amazing dress. This must be his sister. “How did you? Wait, why are they? Could they leave?” “Of course they can” she responded and with a clap of her hands they were dismissed. “You're probably wondering what happened and why you're in a bath tub with nothing but underwear on.” she said gesturing to my clothes spilling from a laundry basket. I didn't know I still I had those on. “My nana says a good steaming bath is the cure for almost anything and I could swear by that myself“ she watched me. “I'm Avery by the way.” “Sarah” I replied, my tone biting, I reached for a towel hanging from a towel bar wrapped my hair and dragged my knees to my chin. She was observing me, I co

The room was silent for a long time. His words replaying in my head again and again, like a jukebox stuck on repeat.I blinked, once, twice, trying to make sense of what he’d just said.Cry him a river? Of diamonds? What was I, a damn jewelry factory? My throat tightened with disbelief. “You can’t be serious.”He simply turned, broad shoulders disappearing through the doorway like he hadn’t just offered me a slavery contract. My lips parted in shock “Unbelievable,” I muttered. “Absolutely unbelievable.”Henry was still there, leaning lazily against the doorframe, a faint grin tugging at his lips.“Take it easy, Blondie,” he said, nodding toward the nightstand. “Drink the tea. Mint helps with headaches.”I followed his gaze to the mug, still steaming faintly. I wanted to tell him where he could shove the mint tea, but the pounding behind my eyes was winning the war.He smirked as if reading my mind. “You can glare all you want. Still gonna help.”When he finally left, closing the door

A scent woke me before sunlight did.Wood smoke. Mint. My head felt like a drum being played by toddlers. My eyes hurt, I couldn't open it so I settled for squinting. The ceiling above me wasn’t mine. Wooden beams. Firelight. Blankets tucked around me that definitely weren’t mine.“Where the hell am I?”A steaming mug sat on the nightstand. Tea. I brought it closer sniffing it, it was peppermint.I made to get out of the bed when a wave of nausea hit me, sending me back to the pillows' embrace, my eyes fluttered shut.I must have drunk all night, what happened to me? Did I go to bed with another man? Oh, hell no. I couldn't imagine doing that, giving it up to some stranger? Someone I don't love? I don't think I could forgive myself. It should have been Dimitri, if only he had looked at me during our marriage, five years and he never once kissed me.Good riddance, a stranger might just be the best thing to happen to me.I jumped down from the bed, wincing from pain. I planned to leav

Sarah's POV Mr. Viper tattoo, looked at me like he had seen a flying leprechaun causing me to chortle, “Ow!” the martini had come right through my nostrils spilling on myself and the tattoo man. “I'm sorry, I'm not always like this, I swear” I pleaded pinching my nostrils to ease the pain, thank goodness it wasn't the tequila, that would have been a full on funeral for my sinuses. He looked at me with an expression I couldn't quite make out, maybe that's how you react when your thousand dollar jacket gets misted with snot.Grabbing at the napkins across me, I stumbled to my feet, “Let me, help” help? Really Sarah, you made this mess, of course you have to 'help'I pressed the napkins against his chest, patting it continuously like a malfunctioning robot, “See? Good as new, not even a stain” I mumbled struggling to keep him in focus.Except he wasn't blurry, everything else was, his eyes looked silver? That had to be alcohol. Great. Now, I'm seeing anime eyes in real life. His mouth

  • Betrayed by My Alpha   Chapter 3

Sarah POV There was no point in asking him to take back his words. Alpha Dimitri wanted a divorce; I should grant it to him as a final wish. Grabbing the pen on the desk, I signed the document and handed it to him. “I hope you find the happiness you are looking for," I muttered before walking out of the dining room. It didn't take long for me to pack my things. Most of the luxury I had was bought with Alpha Dimitri's money. It would hurt my pride if he sees that I took some items with me. After packing my original things, I came with him to his house, and I climbed down to the living room, ready to leave. “You can stay the night and leave tomorrow," Dimitri dared to say after humiliating me in front of that woman. “I can manage on my own." I dragged my box down the stairs. “There is no need to be stubborn. Stay the night and leave tomorrow morning," he insisted, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. “Now you are trying to be courteous? Please spare me your fake sympathy. You
