Chapter 7

Shamma's POV

“She’s my fated mate. The baby she’s carrying is mine,” Jake’s words scattered into the air , making everyone scared for a moment

Killian ’s face twisted into a frown , not believing a word Jake said. “You’re lying!” he barked. “She’s nothing but a disgrace! A rogue!”

Jake turned towards Killian in a dangerous look. “Watch your tongue , Killian. That’s my mate you’re insulting.”

The Alpha stepped forward with a very commanding aura. "Enough! Jake , explain yourself. You disappeared for years, left this pack in chaos , and now you return claiming a mate and a child?"

Jake's jaw clenched. "I left because Killian tried to kill me. He undermined me at every turn, but I survived. I've been watching from afar , waiting for the perfect time to return." His gaze softened as it landed on me. "And then I found her."

I swallowed hard. My throat was dry, my heart racing. "Jake."

Killian sneered as his voice dripped with venom.

    Chapter 52Mirabel's POVI knew that Killian had been suspicious of me from the very beginning. With the new developments, I had to find a way to make things easier for myself. His suspicion must have been what led him to the Blood Moon Pack..     Chapter 51Sharon's POV"Killian , will you shut up and let me think!! This is just too much I can't take it!" Jake snapped as he yanked the piece of paper from Killian’s hand..I stared at both of them , my heart hammering wildly in my chest. What on earth could be in that paper?? So many thoughts raced through my mind , but the loudest of them all screamed I didn’t do anything.. I had no memory of being with Ryker , not in any intimate way. And a picture? Where did that come from??It made no sense.. If anyone should be questioned , it was Killian.. Yet , I stood here , again , the accused..Mirabel sat in silence too silent. Suspiciously silent.
