It felt like the whole world had gone into a coma but for them as Enzo slowly made his way towards Gypsy. Her pulse was racing, panic snapping through her veins like electricity through a high voltage wire.

Enzo stopped in front of her. The coldness and the fury in his eyes seemed to snap Gypsy right into the realization that this was really reality and not just her imagination.

Turning to look at David, she looked down at her daughter. "Darling, go with Uncle David into the car."

Her daughter's eyes widened immediately in horror. "But mummy, daddy..."

"I said go with David, Dawn!" Gypsy snapped much more harshly than she'd intended to.

She winced internally, instantly regretting her tone of voice when her daughter flinched. Gypsy had never spoken to her like that before. The little girl began crying as David carried her to the car while trying to soothe her.

"You shouldn't talk to her like that."
