Border:
A scream echoed through the phone. Adam pulled the phone away from his ear as he looked down at it briefly. His stomach turning in on himself, he knew who was calling before they even said anything.
“Dont fucking touch her.” Adam yelled growling.
Another scream rippled through it. Adam’s wolf pushed forward and began to growl, he wanted to kill him.
“You shouldn't tell people what to do with their things.” Kip’s voice came through the phone.
“Leave her alone.” Adam yelled anger in his voice.
“I will. I’ll even let her leave with you but favors don't happen for nothing.” Kip’s sick smile c
Trade:They walked into a small clearing. Nora’s body was vibrating as it sensed danger. She kept telling herself not to give away what she was. Her newly found glowing eyes made her nervous she didn't want it to happen. She didn't want Kip to know she was a secret weapon, regardless of what Jace thought. She gritted her teeth seeing a girl on her knees cradling her very broken hand. Three other girls were off to the side, two of them with tear stained cheeks. Her eyes landed on the man she knew instantly was Kip. His medium length hair pulled back in a ponytail, a sickening victory smile on his face.“So you came!” Kip announced happily.“We didn't have much of a choice.” Nora said glaring at him.“You came w
Gone:Seconds later a swarm of wolves appeared in the clearing. The girls were huddled around Adam’s and Kayla’s bodies. A large gray wolf came rushing over. The wolf nudged Adam fiercely with his nose. Adam’s body moved but nothing happened. The large gray wolf let out a howl and the wolves around them hung their heads. A wolf a little smaller than the gray wolf came hurrying forward, he was white with golden streaks there its fur. Getting to Adam, the wolf shifted back to his human form. The Abby covered Mille’s eyes at the nake man, Sarah watched the man reach down and check Adam’s pulse. She saw his jaw clenched realizing he didn't not have a pulse. He then went to Kayla doing the same. His eyes flashed pain and he locked eyes with Sarah.“What happened?” He said his voice trying to control his anger.
Amber:“I need to reset your fingers so they don't heal like that.” Wyatt said, taking his eyes off Abby and looking at Sarah.“I’m fine.” Sarah said quietly.“Do you want to heal and not be able to use your fingers?” Wyatt asked quietly.Sarah was still busy watching the men come and take Adam’s and Kayla’s bodies away. They were taking them to prepare them for burial. She was watching their backs as they walked out of the clearing. She didn't mind the pain, she felt she deserved it. She hadn't stolen the cell phone, if she hadn't led Kayla to believe there was a way to get out. To escape. Things may have been rough with Kip’s pack but at least Kayla was still alive.
Help: Nora groaned her head was killing her. She went to reach up to touch the back of her head, she felt wetness there. She pulled her hand down, opening her eyes, she saw her fingertips stained with blood. She saw shackles on her wrist. They were silver, she rolled her eyes slightly at the silver shackles. There was a faint familiar smell in the air as well. The silver chain was coated in something. “It's wolfsbane.” A voice said from the other side of the room. She forced her eyes to focus, the room was dark and her head was still foggy and painful. A dim light coming through the small window in the door was the only light in the room. “Well its dumb.” Nora said, holding her head in her hands, trying to make it stop throbbing.
Move out:She could hear screaming and shouting from the rooms down the hall. Nora sat up the metal from the cuff causing her pain. She didn't know she was this much of a weakling. The man sitting across the way from her didnt even act like he heard the screaming. She looked at him like he was crazy. She slowly got to her feet and began moving across the room.“Where are you going?” He asked her, annoyed.“Obviously not far.” She said, rolling her eyes at her and holding up her hands. She went to the door and he got up like he accepted her to bolt. He went up behind her incase he needed to grab her. She ignored him standing on her tippy toes trying to see out the tiny window in the door.“W
Can’t:Nora stepped out into the hall, it was cold. The walls, ceiling and floor were all white. She looked to Asher and he nodded for her to go left. She walked down the hall slowly. Part of it was because it was aerie with the random screaming, the other part was because she was trying to make sure she remembered everything. Walking past the first room, the sound of soft crying was heard. Asher saw her interested and he tapped lightly on the glass of the door. The small shade pulled up, the person inside stepped aside and Asher moved to the right moving out of the way.“Go take a look.” Asher said no emotion in the comment.Nora stepped up to the door. Looking inside was a medical room, there was a girl strapped to a chain in the center, the kind you would see at a dentist. Tears stained he
The one that got away: Nora followed Kip down the long hall. She kept her eyes focused on her surroundings but didn't try looking into any of the rooms. She didn't want to see any more horrors. Kip glanced over his shoulder and noticed Nora’s discomfort and began hitting the buttons on the wall as he passed them. The dark gray wall became clear as Nora walked by each one. Each room held the same horror but different stage. Somewhere just starting to shift, some didn't make it and laid dead on the floor. The nurse in the room looked relieved. Others were the Lobo standing over the person nurse’s dead body. “Why don’t you let the nurses out?” Nora asked as they passed by another room. “At first it was because I didn't care, I wanted to see what my creation would do. Now it's more of a fear cont
Hold on: We’re almost there, hold on Nora. Jace’s voice whispered into her mind. She didn't know if she had made it up but something in her told it was real. She needed to stall him from trying to turn her. “Why kill a home family?” Nora said, angry. “Why not.” Kip shrugged. “So you like killing.” She said, trying to move out of her straps. “Like isn't the right word. Love isn't even the right word. I crave it. Humans are easy prey. They are worthless and honestly they do nothing for this world. They are weak and bottom feeders. Hunters, now hunters. They are fun to kill. They fight and they fight hard. It’s actually a challenge to fight them. It's exhilarating. You k
