“How did you get this?” I asked her.
“I made a deal with Dad and Mom just to get that, your cards and for you to go back to school. So, you should do better at school starting tomorrow. Don’t skip school ever again, understand? You go to school and don’t do something foolish or you’ll be locked here again.”
