Chapter 5-Meets the Titans

Vivienne

“You!” The guy with the same face yelled. “You are the one who broke my phone! How dare you escape with me?” He angrily pointed at me.

“So, that’s what is she talking about earlier.” Logan laughed and brushed away the guy. “She was asking me if my phone has broken. I was weirded out at first. But now I guess she thought I am you, Loki.”

“Grr! You must pay for running away from me.” Loki hissed at me. “How did you get her, Logan?”

“I’m sorry,” I said before Logan could say a word. I bowed, holding the hot compress. “I was in a hurry awhile ago. But I'll pay for your phone's damage.”

“Silly girl, my twin wasn’t asking for money for the phone, but the compensation of escaping him.”

Logan laughed at me when I gave him a questioning look.

“He… what?”

“You escaped him, and you paid the price.”

“Can we talk about it later? I need to attend the class.”

I handed the hot compress to the nurse and took the pack of tissue.

“Are you okay already? The menstrual cramps will worsen if you didn’t treat it well.” The nurse asked.

“Hey! Are you the girl who asked for a sanitary napkin and tissue at the male's comfort room?” The other guy suddenly asked.

“Oh!” I exclaimed. “So, it's you?”

“Did I heard it right, Thore? You buy her a sanitary napkin? I can’t believe it!”

 Logan was laughing so hard.

I felt red all over. This is so embarrassing!

“What is the commotion all about?” A firm and baritone voice came inside the infirmary room.

For the nth time, I went dumbfounded. The guy who just came in was so handsome! I think I saw him already, but I just don’t know when and where. And did the Brixtons University has this face standard? Why were all male students here stunning?

“It’s you!” The guy suddenly exclaimed when he saw me. “Helmet girl!”

The three handsome guys went silent for a while. I just knotted my forehead.

“What is this lunatic talking about? I am not helmet girl.”

The three burst out laughing. The guy who just came suddenly darkened his face.

“What did you just called me?” He grimly asked me.

“Whoa! Raylie was called a lunatic.” Logan keeps laughing. “This girl is one of a kind.”

“Yeah! I think so. No one dares to insult any of the Titans.”

I was a bit shaken. What are they talking about? What Titans? Did they mean the mythical creatures? But realizing I made Raylie furious, I got scared.

I was new here. I shouldn’t be causing any trouble.

“I’m sorry. It’s me and my mouth.”

But why is he calling me helmet girl?

Raylie suddenly loosened his temper.

“You’re forgiven then. Where is my helmet?”

“Huh?” I got confused. What is he talking about?

“The helmet you stole from me when we run away from the gang.” He keeps insisting.

I tried to think about the scene, and I finally remembered it.

“Oh! You are that guy!” I exclaimed. “I’ll check your helmet in my place. I am not certain where did I put it. We just move here.”

“Yeah. I think so. Raylie said you were wearing the Kingstone High's uniform when the first time he saw you.”

I didn’t dare say anything. Who are these guys? Why do they know about that incident?

“Bring my helmet back tomorrow.” Raylie coldly said.

“Fine. Can I go now?” I silently asked.

“I'll walk you to your classroom.” Thore offered.

Knowing that he was the guy who helps me in the male’s comfort room, I felt embarrassed seeing him. But I should be grateful to him. He was such a nice guy.

“Let’s walk her together. She’s our classmates.” Logan said and stood up, ready to go.

“Really? You’re in class 11-A?” Thore seemed surprised to hear it. I shyly nodded.

“Oh, well. Let’s go together.”

“I decided not to attend the class today.”

Our attention was thrown towards Raylie. Loki approached him and jokingly tapped him on the back.

“Come on. Don’t pretend to be hard to get. We knew you wanted to attend the class.”

“Yeah! Don’t you want to know our new classmates here?” Logan seconded what his twin said.

We thanked the nurse and left the infirmary.

“Let’s go!” The twin forced Raylie to walk our way to our classroom.

“Oh! I almost forgot,” Loki turned to me. “We still need to talk after class.”

“What are you going to talk about?” Raylie seemed annoyed to hear what Loki said.

“Well, this girl got in trouble with Loki. They must talk and agreed about the compensation.” Logan said.

I decided to keep silent. It’s just my first day, and I got in trouble with these four guys. What am I going to do now?

“We’re here.”

After a long walk, we stopped in front of a classroom. I looked up and saw the sign. It says 11-A. So, this is my new classroom. Thore opened the door. And they started to enter one by one. I could still hear the gasping from the female students. They seemed surprised to see who’s coming.

What’s really going on?

The teacher turned to me when I was the only person left outside the door.

“You must be the new student.” I nodded at the teacher. “Are you with the Titans?” It’s a follow-up question that I don’t know how to answer.

“Certainly, Sir,” Logan answered. He seemed to be the most cheerful among the four guys.

“Okay. Come here and introduced yourself.”

I followed what the teacher asked me to do. When I was still the old me, I used to be confident about myself. But now, seeing my new classmates made me feel awkward, maybe because they were giving me a weird look.

“I am Vivienne Alfonso. Seventeen years old. I am new here. Please be good to me.”

That was it. I don’t want to say anything about myself anymore. I turned to the teacher, and he smiled.

“Please take a seat to anywhere you wanted.” The teacher kindly said.

“Come here, Vivienne. This seat is vacant.” I heard Thore calling out on me.

I was about to walk towards him, but I saw Raylie’s face turned grim. The four boys were sitting aligned to each other. Maybe Raylie didn’t want me to join them. I saw a vacant seat in front of Thore and decided to take it.

“I must take this seat,” I whispered to Thore.

“Whoa! Thore was being rejected, huh? You are really something, Vivienne.” Logan commented.

I saw Raylie seems to lighten his mood. I must be right in thinking that he doesn’t want me to join them.

Likewise, I focused on our lesson. I was here to study and not to get entangled with trouble anymore. Break time comes, and a group of girls approached me. I was surprised to see them. Are they going to ask me to join them? I was about to greet them when a girl suddenly gives me a sour face.

“Who are you? Why are you with the Titans?” The girl asked me in an angry tone.

“Huh?”

I'd been hearing about the Titans many times today. But I don’t have any idea about what they are talking about. And why is it that I felt danger towards this group of girls? Am I in trouble again?
