I called his office but he wasn't there and so I had no choice but to come to his penthouse

I became more frustrated as the security wouldn't let my car pass through the gate but after I lowered the back window where I sat they trembled at the sight of me" I didn't have to say anything because my presence spoke for itself

I smiled as they tremblingly opened the gates, that's everyone in the city knew better than to mess with Valarie Blackrose, they didn't even have the guts to defy me but because of Scott Foster I was humiliated and lost investors today

My eyes travelled to the flight of stairs" there stood Scott Foster with only a towel around his waist, his blonde messy hair dripping wet with water
