Diane.

Julian’s hand squeezed my waist one last time.

“Dom, meet me in my office,” he said smoothly. “We need to go over some things.”

“Of course, Alpha,” Dom replied calmly.

Julian leaned down and kissed my temple, my teeth subtly clenching in disgust. “Get to know him, sweetheart. He’ll be around often now.”

Then he turned and started to leave, his footsteps fading as he walked away.

The air in the room felt heavy, like a storm was about to break.

Dom didn’t look at me. He adjust

Celine The private Pack Hospital. It was the most prestigious, expensive hospital in the entire territory. Only the richest families and highest political leaders could afford to go there. The doctors there were the best in the pack. My mind raced. What if I ran into someone I knew from the gala? What if someone recognized me carrying two sick kids in a ripped golden dress? “I do not care,” I whispered to the quiet room. “I do not care if the whole world sees me.” I leaned down and wrapped Lily in a thick blanket. I lifted her limp body into my arms. She felt so light, so weak. Her head fell back against my shoulder like she did not have the strength to hold it up. Maria ran back into the room holding a black purse filled with cash and my small velvet jewelry box. A file. “I got it!” Maria panted. “I got everything!” “Cover her up so nobody sees the rashes! Let us go!” Maria carefully lifted one from the bed. Lily let out a soft, painful groan that ripped through my c

CelineThe dress I wore for the gala felt heavy and tight against my skin. I tore off my high heels and threw them onto the passenger seat of my car. My bare feet pressed hard on the gas pedal. The engine roared, and the car zoomed down the dark highway. My hands were shaking on the steering wheel. I could barely see the road through the tears filling my eyes. Only twenty minutes ago, my phone had rung. It was Maria. Her voice was shaking so badly she could barely talk. “Ma’am, you need to come home right now! It is both of them this time! They are getting worse!” That single call destroyed my entire night. They were fine when I left. Absolutely fine. But of course. That’s what it is. That’s how it always is. I did not care about the grand gala. I quickly rushed to the car to get home. I pulled up to my small house, throwing the car into park. I did not even turn off the engine or lock the doors. I just ran straight up the front steps, my long silk dress dragging on the

Diane“I am very sorry, Luna,” the doctor said softly. “We tried everything we could. But… the young man died.” My legs went numb. The floor beneath me felt like it was shifting. “W-What…?” “The poison was too strong,” the doctor explained quietly. “It destroyed his body too fast. It is a strange poison we do not even recognize. We tried to clean his stomach, but it was too late. The young man is dead.” “No…” I whispered. “No, no, no!” I stepped forward and grabbed the front of the doctor’s green shirt. I shook him with all the strength left in my body. “Why did you let him die?!” I screamed as hot tears ran down my cold face. “Why did you let him die?! You promised me! You said you would save him! Why did you let him die?!” “Luna, please, we tried our best—” “He was supposed to talk!” I sobbed, shaking his shirt over and over. “He was supposed to tell me who did this! Why did you let him die when I don’t know who the fuck sent him to get rid of me!” Strong arms wrappe

  • Biker Beta And His DirTy little LUNA    246: The culprit must live

DianeThe back seat of the black car was totally silent. Outside the dark windows, camera lights flashed nonstop. Reporters pressed close to the doors. They yelled questions and pointed microphones at the glass. A few hours ago, I would have been terrified. I would have hidden my face or tried to fix my hair. Right now, I did not care about them. I did not care about the news or the wild rumors spreading on the internet. The only thing in my mind was the memory of that young servant boy. I kept seeing him fall to the hard floor. I kept seeing him cough up dark blood and choke on the very water I was supposed to drink. An ambulance drove ahead of us, its red and blue lights flashing bright in the night. It cleared a path through the noisy crowd. I sat in the middle of the soft leather seat, staring straight ahead. My hands were shaking. My whole body felt cold and numb. Julian sat on my left side with his legs crossed. Dom sat in the front seat. His wide back was still and st

Julian“N-Nothing, Alpha!” the boy sobbed, his hands shaking violently. “You asked for water! I just poured it from the clean pitcher in the kitchen!”“What did you put inside?!” I yelled, shaking him.“Nothing! I swear on my life! It’s just plain water!”I let go of his collar, turning toward the table. I picked up the crystal glass and held it right in front of the boy’s face.“This guard says this water is filled with poison,” I sneered, glaring at Dom out of the corner of my eye. “You brought it up here. Are you confident enough to drink it right now?”The boy blinked through his tears, looking confused. “Y-Yes, Alpha. I am confident. I didn’t put anything in it.”Diane stepped forward, her voice soft, terrified, and shaking. “Are you sure? Young man, please… I don’t want you to lose your life for nothing. Are you absolutely sure you didn’t tamper with my water?”“I swear with my life, Luna,” the boy whispered, wiping his nose with his sleeve. “I didn’t touch it.”“Fine,” I said s

Julian.I sat in the front row of the auditorium, resting my hands on my knees. The air in the room was warm and thick with the heavy scent of expensive perfume. Microphones hummed softly. The bright stage lights cut through the room, shining down on Diane as she stood at the wooden podium. She looked small up there. Her voice echoed off the high walls, clear and steady, talking about pack unity and the upcoming gala.Across the aisle, Zee caught my eye. He sat near the end of his row. When he looked over at me, he gave a tiny, subtle wink.I didn’t smile. I kept my face completely blank and looked straight ahead at the stage.A single slip-up, a single misplaced look, in a room full of videos and cameras, and someone would notice. I wasn’t going to be stupid. Everything was already in motion. Then, right on schedule, the room went wild.It started with a few low vibrations. Then, dozens of phone screens lit up in the dark auditorium all at once. Elders pulled out their devices. Counc
