61: Spend

"We will have a dinner date later."

Talia looked up to Kiel when she heard that from him. Her forehead then creased. She just remembered that they has not been dating since then, sometimes will just a random call or meeting. As Kiel noticed her expression, he bit his lower lip.

He then added a mutter, "If that is fine to you..."

Talia chuckled because Kiel seems nervous with the thought of Talia rejecting his offer. She tapped the side of the bed where she is sitting while Kiel on the other hand standing near the door. It has been a week after Kiel's long suffering with Talia's punishment and their relationship did not change. Their love for one another has just deepened and they are the happiest at the moment of Liah having her menstruation.

"Why you now seemed doubting?" she slowly asked and plant a faint smile on her lip. Kiel then avoided his look away. "Tell me you did nothing wrong, Kiel Alexandro."

He gasped. How the hell she thought of that? "I am just being too careful with my words, babe."

"Because?" she anticipated.

"Because if I might drop a word that will go with the flow of your mood swings, you will be torturing me again."

Instead of Talia chuckling, she stopped for a moment, stiffened. Now she really is being sorry because seems like Kiel is having a trauma. "I am sorry..." she mumbled and looked down at her hands.

He then hushed her. "Nothing to be sorry, okay? I get it. It is over now. It was just that I wanted to protect you, to not hurt you. I love you so much, baby. Don't be sorry."

Talia looked at him with her begging eyes but Kiel just cupped her face and stared at her eyes directly. They stared at each other for a minute before he broke the silence.

"But I have to tell you something," he said and caress her cheeks. "Dani is your friend, right? I want her to be my secretary because you know her. Her job is good."

Talia pursed her lips to stifle herself from smiling. "That's good to hear, Kiel. She once mentioned me that she has to pay her siblings' tuition fee."

"Yeah, that's why I hired her. I mean, you did not resign but you have done your job well. You do not have to work. I am here."

Talia shut herself for a second before she shakes her head. "I can not just lean against your wall, Kiel."

"I know, I know. You hate that. But you are pregnant, okay? My baby mommy is pregnant and you can not stress yourself. And since I already know that after this, you wanted to work and be with me, your friend's contract was just temporary since you are on rest," he said with a smile on his lips.

Talia hissed. "You think I will be your secretary?"

Kiel stopped, his brows furrowed. "You mean?"

The side of Talia's lips rose as if she was thinking of something. She looked at him with a different emotion, eyes were seducing. 

"I will be your boss for the remaining months of my pregnancy, Alexandro."

The side of Kiel's lips rose too because of what she said and the way she called her. "I love Alexandro way more better."

"I am the boss, I will call you anything I want to. Anyway, are you willing to take orders from me?"

Kiel quickly stood up straight and put his wide palm in his temple, he then said, "Aye aye, captain!"

They both chuckled because of their humors. They both heaved a deep sigh. Kiel lay himself in the bed before her and held her hand, then he intertwined their fingers.

"What do you want to do with me?" he slowly asked in a low manner.

Talia tilt her head as if thinking, then she shakes her head. "I just want to be with you, even when I am craving."

He grinned. "All right, Miss," he muttered. "Anyway, go get some rest for our date later. I will watch you asleep and I will wake up."

Talia nodded her head and made Kiel's arm to be her pillow. She then doze up to sleep. As what Kiel said, he stared at her closed eyes trying to rest. He would never get tired watching her asleep, resting - in his arms and warmth.

After minutes of watching her swallowed by darkness, Kiel felt the urge of taking a nap too since he did not have a food sleep last night since he was too busy in work. He just filed tired when he saw Talia resting. When they were talking lately, tiredness has never been creep in his face.

"Hey, wake up..." And it turns out that it was Talia who is waking him up. She slowly tapped his shoulders before she let out a small yawn. "It is already six, Alexander."

She would not lie, she now love to call him Alexander. She does not know if it was because of her pregnancy or it was just good to utter and to hear calling his name. She just realize that Alexander is way more better, though sounding intimidating.

Kiel immediately opened his eyes and looked at Talia carefully. "Sorry," he said and plant a light kiss on her temple. "We are going at quarter six. I will help you fix."

Talia snorted. "You will help me wear my clothes?"

Kiel looked at her with creased brows. "Yeah, why? You are pregnant."

She rolled her eyes. "Being pregnant does not mean being armless, Alexander."

The side of his lips rose up because Talia was calling him that way again. He just hope that that would stay longer before she turn to another mood where she will hate the word Alexander for the first time.

As they prepare each other for the dinner, Talia invited Liah to go with them. Kiel looked at Liah meaningfully and she immediately got it. Not to mention that Kiel has always been jealous because Talia loves to talk to her more than him.

Liah grinned, as if teasing Kiel. "I can go," she said, making Kiel to let out a breathe in subtlety.

"You have to work on your homework's, right, our baby Liah?" Kiel acted like Liah really has a homework. Liah was more amused to see that his eyes were begging.

"Yeah, but I can do it later," she said and looked at Talia. "But... that is your date anyway. I do not want you to love me more than your man."

Even when Liah seems teasing Kiel, he was still thankful that she somehow refused. Kiel gave Liah a wink first as thanks before he closed the door of the unit as Talia went out.

He guess he would spend his night with her.
