65: Thoughts and Questions

Talia and Yanna did not stay long outside since Talia is feeling weird again. She can not understand the feeling that is striking her but it is all about her pregnancy. And she does not feel well, it was like she will be sick in no time.

“Hey, what are you feeling?” Yanna asked her worriedly that she just answered with a shake of her head.

“I am fine,” Talia said but her feeling says otherwise.

“We should go to the hospital,” Yanna suggested and was about to call for her bodyguard but Talia stopped her. She does not want to go to hospital because she hate it. And for her, she could bear the weird feeling struck.

“Don’t,” she uttered to stop her. “I am fine, Yanna, really. If you want to help, just get me hot water.”

Yanna followed her immediately. As soon as Talia receive the hot water, she sighed and started to sip on the cup. She rest inside their room and took a nap. Talia also tried to call Kiel but he is not answering, probably busy, but she cannot help but feel sad because she wanted to see him so she could feel better talking to him.

“Talia, how do you feel?” Liah asked her as soon as she arrive to the unit. She did not expect to see her lying on the bed, looking pale.

“I am fine,” she answered weakly. “I am just sleepy. Do not worry about me, Liah. Go and fix yourself.”

Liah did not listen to her. “We should bring you to the hospital, Talia. Come on, you fix yourself. I will call Kiel so he would know your situation.”

Talia knew that no one can stop Liah so she did not say anything anymore. She closed her eyes again and yawned. Liah on the other hand sat at the edge of the bed facing her phone so she could call Kiel. But same as Talia’s, Kiel is not answering the phone call.

“He is not getting the phone,” Liah said, sighing. Then, she stood up to face Talia’s system staking a nap. “Let’s go to the hospital. You are sick. That is not good for the baby.”

“Seriously, Liah. I am just sleepy,” Talia said with a hiss, still with her eyes closed. Hospital gave her a trauma. Even when they brought Liah there, she is feeling quite nervous. “Let me rest, hmm? But if I still feel the same later, I will listen to you guys.”

Liah let out a deep sigh and hissed. She has no choice but to agree. She can not force her to just get to hospital and get checked. It is her choice, and could be a great choice if she will choose a good decision that can not bring any of them into harm.

Talia tried to call Kiel for the nth time and again, there is no answer. She took a nap with disappointment written in her chest, tattooed to her heart. She badly want to see him and have a conversation with him before annoyance would strike her being and she would hate his face for another batch.

When evening came, six, Liah knocked on the door of their room to call Talia. But Talia was fallen asleep deeply.

“Hey, are you up?” Liah asked, worrying. When she did not get any answer from Talia, she has given no choice but to open the door to see her. She then bit her lower lip because Talia was silently closing her eyes, heaving since her chest is going up and down.

Liah went near her and held her hand. That is when she felt warmness. Talia is hot and she may be sick already. She almost panic. She went outside first and calmed herself, then she called Yanna.

“Let us bring her to the hospital,” said Liah which Yanna agreed quickly. “Get the bodyguard outside please? We should hurry up because I have a bad feeling. Her sickness might get into worse.”

Yanna did not hesitate to listen to Liah. She went outside to call the bodyguard. They then gently get Talia off the bed and carried her carefully down the building. Funny how she did not wake up.

They put Talia on the backseat, still careful. That is when Talia groaned because she felt her back away from the soft mattress. The guard drove away with Liah and Yanna. Good thing they did not forgot to lock the unit before they left.

“Why is not he answering?” Liah asked silently. She keep on phone calling Kiel yet he would not pick the call up. It is making Liah annoyed.

Really? When they need him because Talia is not feeling well, that is when Kiel can not be reached? That sounds like fate playing for a reason.

When they get in the hospital, they put Talia in a private room after she was checked. She has a high fever and good thing she was brought there as soon as possible because it might can harm her and the baby.

“You really brought me here,” Talia said in a low manner when she woke up in an unfamiliar ceiling and she could smell medicines and acids around.

Liah held her hand. “You’re hot.”

“I know,” she said jokingly, making Liah to roll her eyes. Yanna then decided to leave so there will be someone to stay in the unit. Their bodyguard just stayed outside and waited for a cue of help.

“You should eat,” Liah said later on. “There are fruits here and I promise you’d like them even though you are having a mood of weird taste in foods, it is hard to be pregnant. Anyway, I will just peel some and eat, okay?”

Talia nodded her head like a kid listening to her mother. “Aye aye, Liah,” she said and smiled. Then, she remembered Kiel. “Did he called?” she asked, hoping.

Yet Liah’s facial expression disappointed her. Liah looked at her with her shoulders sagged and little shakes of her head. “He do not even pick up the call,” Liah uttered and proceeded to peel the fruits.

The thought is getting her in. Why is not he answering the call? What is happening? What is with him?
