Chapter 70

Lily had always been alone in the house after classes, but it was the first time she had felt that she was alone. She called the maid and told her the list of dishes she wanted. She purposely chose the items that would take a lot of time. She wanted to hear at least the vessel sounds. "Also, make the sweetest cake you can make!" Lily told the maid. Since she was a child, sweetness always made her happy. When she thought about sweetness, she recalled Nik's words that she tasted sweet. 'Hope I can taste myself!' she sighed and walked to the guest room to freshen up.

The maid was amused to hear the list of items that Lily wanted. Including the cake, it was six dishes and all of them required an ample amount of care and time. 'When am I going to complete them?' She exhaled and found that the items didn't have any meaning. None of them was the couple's favourite dish and was also not used for any special occasion. All she would see in the food Lily asked for was the high calories and time
