Chapter Twenty One

The shrill, high-pitched sound that left Zoey's mouth was enough to burst Sheila's eardrums into a million tiny pieces; she was so glad it didn't. She could practically feel the excitement pouring off Zoey as she filled her in on her passionate escapades with her boss the previous night.

"Oh my God! You're literally the luckiest girl alive Sheila" Zoey gushed in excitement, the sound caused Sheila's laughter to break free.

Trust Zoey to be overly dramatic over the happenings of her life. After endless seconds of cheerful chatter, she turned serious

"What are you leaving out?" Zoey questioned softly

Sheila, confused, paused her thoughts to give response to Zoey's question.
