Chapter 5 You can get leave now

Author: Erin Warren
In a villa located halfway up the Nano District mountain, a dimly lit room was filled with the aroma of fresh apples. A pink bed in the room was covered with wrinkled sheets.

Federick sat among the sheets, half-squinting his eyes. His thick black lashes blocked his dark eyes, and a chilly glint flashed through his eyes.

His rosy lips were parted slightly.

Federick was an angel carved by the heavens. His delicate appearance and charming character were always adorned with a charming smile on his face.

A woman bent across him, trying to seduce him with her tongue. She moaned softly, tempting him.

  "I want you." She pleaded.

Federick bowed his head and smiled playfully. He pinched her lovely chin and lifted it up. "Do you want me?"

  "Yes."

"I'm a little tired today. Let's do this another day." Federick said, with a hint of callousness. He stood up and walked to the bathroom.

Tonight, he felt that this was meaningless.

  Federick left the villa early.

Outside, Federick picked up his mobile phone and called Stella.

  One, two, three...

  Stella did not answer.

Federick curled up the corners of his mouth and murmured, "You want to play with me? Very good."

Federick dialed Stella's downtown apartment again.

  One, two, three.

  His patience was fading away.

"Hello." The voice of the housemaid, Betty, rang out in a daze.

"Where is Madam?" Federick asked coldly.

"Sir. Madam has yet to return home," Betty replied.

"Is she on duty today?" Federick's eyes became colder.

  "No."

As soon as Betty's voice fell away, Federick hung up the phone.

"Stella, you have learned to stay out at night!" Federick sped up and drove toward the hospital.

Stella returned to the hospital. She opened the drawer and took out her mobile phone.

At 2.31 a.m,. there was a call from Federick.

Stella put down her phone with a sad smile.

She took out a plaster from the drawer, along with some iodine.

Stella walked to the mirror and tilted her neck.

A scar had already formed the size of a needle.

If she didn't look closely, she couldn't see it.

But for safety, she put on a plaster on her neck.

  She returned to her chair.

She dipped a cotton swab in some iodine and dabbed on the wounds on her hands, finally placing three plasters on them.

After that, she lay on the bed in the office.

"Crack." The door was pushed open.

  Stella sat up warily.

When Federick saw her, his tight face showed a charming smile as usual.

Federick put his hands into his pocket and walked up to her lazily. "You don't have to be on duty today. Why didn't you go home to sleep?"

Stella looked at the hickey mark on his neck.

He had just finished with his disgusting business!

"Why are you here?" Stella ignored his question, put on her shoes, and sat up.

"I was just passing by!" Federick said leisurely, seeing the plaster on her neck.

A mocking smile appeared on his handsome face. "Stella, when did you learn to hurt yourself?"

  Stella looked at Federick calmly.

There was no guilt or shame on his face.

He behaved as he was not having these affairs, as if he had never gotten another woman pregnant.

A fit of anger boiled from the bottom of Stella's heart, and her eyes narrowed sharply.

"Yeah, I'm hurting myself! But this, compared to the pain of watching your affairs..."

  "Ssi!"

Before she could finish, Federick ripped off the plaster on her neck suddenly.

Stella felt a sharp pain in her neck.

The pain was so intense; she felt cold. She was momentarily disoriented and forgot what she wanted to say.

She stood there in a daze. There was a glazed look in her eyes.

Federick looked at her smooth neck with disgust.

"You are not hurt at all. Stella, you are too scheming. No matter how good a clown can act, a clown is still a clown." Federick said sarcastically.

Stella felt so cold in her heart, she felt that there was no need to explain to him.

"You can leave now," Stella said bluntly.

  Federick's eyes flashed sharply.

Federick held Stella's chin and pushed her to the bed. He stared at her cold face and said sarcastically, "Do you know why I don't want to touch you?"

Stella pursed her lips and looked at Federick quietly.

Her heartstrings pulled tight, she was in so much pain.

Stella wanted to remember his cruelty clearly so that her heart could finally grow as cold as stone, she did not want to feel any more pain!

Seeing that she did not speak, Federick grew angrier and did not bother to hide his disgust for her. "Because you are so arrogant and annoying, and whatever you do disgusts me."

Stella's eyelashes fluttered, and her watery eyes were covered with a layer of tears. She stared at Federick quietly, neither crying nor refuting.

But in her heart, she was bleeding.

"I know that. Do you know why I married you even when I know you despise me?" Stella asked.

Federick suddenly stopped. He frowned and sized her up.

Stella broke into a charming smile.

When she smiled, she could turn the world upside down.

Even Federick was smitten by her smile.

"Because I want to see you suffer. You and your lover plotted together to kidnap, and I have no evidence to condemn you. I can only destroy you slowly by tying you to me." Stella said resolutely.

  Federick pushed her away.

"Just you wait for a letter from my lawyer. I am getting a divorce. You want to destroy me, don't you dare even dream about it." Federick said irrationally.

Federick turned around, took out a tissue from Stella's desk, and wiped his hands thoroughly.

It was as if he had touched something dirty.

Federick rolled the tissue into a ball and threw it into the trash can.

He turned around, quickly walked out of the door, and closed the door.

  Bang!

Stella looked at the closed door and sat on the bed with tears in her eyes.

She lay back on the bed and closed her eyes, but her chest throbbed painfully.

Once, she had loved him wholeheartedly.

However, what did her love mean to him?

He was the one who proposed the marriage, but also the one who betrayed her, and now also the one who divorces her.

She was like a clown, getting laughed at despicably.

Her heart ached so much, she could barely breathe.

Stella curled up tightly, holding her body tightly as if she were trying to absorb warmth from her own body so that she would not die of cold.

She lay awake and only fell asleep when light appeared in the sky.

  At the military camp.

Flipping through the documents handed over by Lieutenant Johnson, Jasper frowned and guilt flashed across his dark eyes.

He did not know that Stella had led such a miserable life after marriage.

Stella and her husband were separated. Her parents-in-law had a bad relationship, and her mother had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital.

  Her husband had 16 lovers.

On average, he only spent two and a half months with each woman.

Jasper closed the document and instructed Lieutenant Johnson, "Inform the hospital director to have her promoted to deputy director."

The bullet pierced through his chest, and blood dyed Joseph's silver coat red immediately.  "Joseph!" Waverly's eyes were bloodshot, and her roaring voice was choked. He looked at her, and wanted to smile, but he didn't have the energy to do so.  He fell a few steps back, and leaned against the window. The sea breeze tousled his hair into a mess.  "Let go of me!" Waverly struggled, but they were too strong and she couldn't escape.  "Push him down, and make sure he dies," said the person who was holding Waverly captive.  "No!" Waverly yelled, but her efforts were futile. They walked up to Joseph and pushed him down the window ruthlessly.  She screamed, "Joseph Mccarthy!" The person who was grabbing Waverly released her all of a sudden, and she rushed to the window as fast as lightning. Then, she jumped into the sea without hesitation.  Joseph had been shot, and his blood diffused into the sea rapidly. Waverly dived into the red pool of blo

Boris asked, "What's the solution?" Breddy answered, "We'll have to make her take the initiative to face it." Boris sighed, "That's easier said than done." Shaking his head, Breddy replied, "It's not too hard. You said it yourself that she's a kind person. She would even help a complete stranger, so what makes you think she won't save a person that's extremely important to her?" Boris was stunned. Breddy continued, "If this person was heavily injured for her, she would realize that there's someone in this world who still loves her, and she'll naturally want to stay in this world for a little longer. By then, she'll be willing to open up her heart." Boris took a pause, and said, "But who is this person?"  To the Waverly Martell of the past, Bellamy was everything to her. However, at present, he was nothing.  She cared about everyone, but she refused to let others care about her. It seemed as if she had already merged into the world, but th

Waverly frowned and looked at Breddy's left hand. She saw as he put the coin in his left hand, "What if I want you to jump off the top floor?" "Then I'll jump right down." Breddy said affirmatively. He raised his smile and looked incredibly confident. His character was like the calm deep blue sea, vast and far-reaching, which made her feel at ease. Waverly's eyes once again fell on his left hand. "Believe in what you've seen. Things aren't as complicated as they seem. It's just that simple," Breddy reminded her. Waverly pointed at his left hand. As expected, the coin was in the palm of his hand when he opened it. "You won. What do you want me to do?" asked Breddy. Waverly looked coldly at the man in front of her. She would even save a stranger whom she didn't know, so how could she ask Breddy, who was treating her, to seek death? She had no idea why, but judging by his self-confidence, he seemed like he was playing house with

Waverly hesitated. "Just talk to the psychiatrist. Perhaps he would give you new ideas and inspirations. Didn't we agree that will be better for our future?" Boris encouraged her. "We are leaving tomorrow. We might not have time. Thank you for your kindness," Waverly said. "I have made an appointment at ten o'clock in the evening in the hotel. He will come to the hotel," Boris said. "Y-you have arranged an appointment for me today?" Waverly had an unspeakable strange feeling in her heart. Even after knowing the death of his girlfriend, Boris could still call a psychiatrist for her. Did he do so out of friendship, generosity or because he pitied her? "My girlfriend said that she wanted me to do my best to help others on her behalf," Boris said with a smile. "The heavens must have summoned her back to be an angel," Waverly comforted Boris. "I think so too." It was night. Waverly ate a little, took a shower, stayed in the r

Cadwell looked at the files in his hand. They were very thick. He flipped through them briefly. There were twelve pages in it. The files talked about a lot about the nation's history, analyzing the cause, the process, and the result of those incidents. It also explained a few things regarding Queen Danina and Prince Caesar. It analyzed their personalities and gave a prediction on what the future would be like. The analysis was flawless. Every word was written in perfect unison. He could prepare himself in times of danger, so he could exert the right amount of pressure when needed. Furthermore, she had given him two plans, one of which was to work with her and expand his diplomatic power in M Country. She represented the Mccarthy family and also the highest level of weapons. Of course, if he did not feel that such a cooperation was necessary, they would still maintain a good relationship. After all, there was no hatred between him and the Mccarthy family. He woul

"I was wrong. I've realized deeply that I was in the wrong. I should bad-mouth you rather than Madam. Mr. Mccarthy, I should offend you rather than offend Madam," Yadriel lowered his head and said in a low tone. Joseph stood up and walked up to him, "You feel wronged?" "I feel wronged on your behalf." Yadriel's eyes were red as he said, "Mr. Mccarthy, I know very well that even though you've treated her so well, she has never treated you fairly. As soon as Bellamy went to find her, she threw everything away. She didn't even want the title of Peace Lady and was willing to follow Bellamy again. Does she know how much effort, energy and time you've spent in order to earn the title of Peace Lady for her?" "She likes Bellamy, so naturally she doesn't need to think about what's fair or not with him," Joseph said clearly. "If so, why are you treating her so well?" Yadriel didn't understand Joseph's actions. "You're my best friend," Joseph said with sadness in his
