Louisa:
I slowly opened my eyes, groggily taking in my surroundings.
What.. What happened?
I was in a hospital room, surrounded by beeping machines and sterile white walls.
I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through my head and I fell back onto the pillow, squeezing my eyes to minimize the pain
A nurse rushed to my side, helping me to sit up slowly. "Easy, dear," she said. "You've been in an accident. You were hit by a car."
I tried to remember, but my memories were hazy. I vaguely recalled rushing down the street, and then...nothing
What if I had died? I recalled the divorce and I bit my lips, preventing a sob. I saw life flash before my eyes as I was hit by the car.
I just couldn't believe my fate. Jenna got everyone wrapped around her fingers, cruelly and heartlessly taking my husband away from. She's single handedly destroyed my marriage of three years. I'm already a divorcee.
No, she must pay for what she has done. I can't let her get away with it. My husband must also regret this. But, God, what can I do?
I sobbed quietly, wiping my eyes.
The nurse saw the fear in my eyes and quickly reassured me. "Don't worry, you're going to be okay. You have some bruises and bumps, but nothing too serious."
I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. But then I remembered something else.
"My baby," I whispered, my heart racing with fear. "Is my baby okay? Tell me! Is my baby okay?" I screamed frantically, my eyes watering.
If I lost her.. then I'll just kill myself right now.
The nurse smiled and took my hand. "Your baby is fine," she said. "Perfectly healthy. You were lucky."
I felt a wave of relief wash over me, and I closed my eyes, tears of gratitude streaming down my face.
But as I opened my eyes again, I saw the doctor standing in the doorway, a somber expression on his face. "Do you have any family members who can come and see you?" he asked.
I shook my head, feeling a pang of sadness. I had no one. No family, no friends. I was alone. No one will see me here. They all hated me.. should I call Clara?
I nodded, feeling a lump form in my throat. I was alone, and it was a scary feeling.
But just as I was starting to feel overwhelmed, a nurse came into the room, a smile on her face. "Someone is here to see you," she said.
I looked up, curious, and that's when I saw him. The man whose car hit me. He was standing in the doorway, a look of concern on his face.
My heart skipped a beat as our eyes met, I was quivering slightly, unsure of what to do next. He smiled reassuringly and I just shifted back slowly.
"Don't be scared, Louisa, I was kinda in a rush so I didn't see.."
"How do you know my name?" I stuttered, confused.
"I'm Ryan Vegas. Our parents were friends, the blackwoods and the Vegas." He explained, smiling warmly. "I knew it was you– you're married to Alexander Salvatore, right? "
I bit the inner of my cheeks, so hard that it bled, trying not to remember our divorce. I didn't bother answering and he continued.
"After your parents died, we were looking for you, Louisa. You just disappeared."
"Why were you looking for me?" I asked slightly scared.
"Because your parents left an inheritance for you. Do you know you're an heiress?" He posed and my jaw dropped wide in shock.
****
As Ryan drove me home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. I didn't know who this man was, or how he knew me, but he seemed to know exactly everything about me.
I am an heiress? Is this a sick joke? I couldn't believe it
And as we pulled up to a massive mansion, I felt my jaw drop in shock.
He helped me out of the car and led me inside, where a team of maids were waiting to greet us. They swarmed around me, helping me to a luxurious bathroom where they began to clean me up.
I felt a little dazed and overwhelmed as they washed and dressed me in a beautiful silk robe. But as they finished up and led me to the balcony, I felt a sense of trepidation.
Who was this man, and what did he want from me? I didn't want to think negatively so I brushed my thoughts aside.
As I stepped out onto the balcony, I saw the man waiting for me, a drink in his hand. He smiled at me, and I felt a flutter in my chest.
"Feeling better?" he asked, handing me a glass of wine.
I took the glass, feeling a little uncertain. "Yes, thank you," I said, trying to sound calm.
"So, Louisa," he said, his voice low and smooth. "I think it's time we had a talk."
I nodded grimly.
"Our parents were good friends. Don't you remember us, the Vegas? The first time we met was when you're 12, I was older than you. It was at a party organized by my mom. Fast forward to the tragic accident that claimed your parents. Your dad didn't die right away, he requested for my mom immediately."
"My Mom arrived in time with the lawyer and everything he needed. He made her promise to take care of you and give you his inheritance when you're sixteen years old. We were to be your new family and make sure you lack nothing or ever feel sad." He explained and I sighed, my mind still in shock.
"But you ran away before we could take care. We couldn't easily find you, Louisa. Until you got married. I saw your pictures. We're to hand over the Blackwood Enterprises to you."
I gasped in shock. Could this be true?

The warm sun shone down on them, casting a golden glow over the moment. It seems like the heavens approves of their union.Alex held Louisa close, feeling her warmth and the gentle curve of her belly, where their little one was growing. He breathed in the sweet scent of her hair and felt a deep sense of peace and contentment wash over him. What more could he ask for?Louisa, too, felt a sense of tranquility wash over her. She had been worried about having another child. Don't get me wrong, she loved it but she's been so nervous. But with Alex, everything seemed perfect. As they hugged, the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment, and the promise of a new life growing between them.***It was night and Louisa couldn't sleep. General:As the sun dipped towards the horizon, casting a warm glow over the tranquil waters, Louisa and Alex sat side by side on a checkered blanket, surrounded by the soft rustle of leaves and the distant hum of birdsong. The air was sweet with the scent of wildflowers, and a gentle breeze played with her hair as she leaned into his embrace, staying there for what felt like hours. It's been two months since Ryan's shocking betrayal and Louisa's and Alex's reunion. Alex did wait, giving her three weeks break to figure it out and in the end, she succumbed to her heart. And her heart has Alex written all over it! She loved him – crazily. There's no man that moves her better than him! She's ready to let go of her pasts, the doubts and storm that ravaged her soul. Everything is perfect as they swore to be truthful and trust each other. This is a new chapter of their lives. They need to heal and move on.And Louisa couldn't be more excited when she discovered some great news. She's preg
Louisa had a long bath. Her mind was whirling with regrets and helpless to stop it, she just lay in the tub, defeated. Everything was crumbling down and the rocks were hitting her hard, insistent on wounding her. Everything had been a lie. First was Ryan. He's been using her while he had a lover. Then, Ryan's mom lied about her non-existent cancer. Then there's Yolanda that fooled her. Gosh, she felt really stupid. Since when did she get so gullible? Isn't she the self assured Louisa Blackwood? The badass? Why didn't she just trust her guts. It kept screaming at her that everything is fake!Everyone's fake!Except Alex! Alex who loves her. Who's trying to make things right. Oh goodness!.She sprang up from the top, cleaned up and rushed out to the kitchen where his handsome face came into view. He was wearing an apron, holding a tray of food."I thought you might be hungry." He gave a small smile, staring at her dazed look. "We need to talk, soon." He's made a decision that'll fav
General:Alex pulled Louisa away protectively, opening the car door for her. She was too exhausted to argue or fight so he got her in without a hitch. Besides, she would rather be anywhere but with that shameless bastard. There's nothing more to consider. She needs a break from all of them. She needs to go back to her babies – they'll never betray her or leave her.... Yet. She just need to sleep. For long. And she'll try not to get angry. Alex shot Ryan a murderous glare before zooming off. Ryan sighed, looking dead already. He's given up. Louisa will never forgive him again. He's officially lost her. "I'm sorry you had to see that." Alex brought up after a while."Don't talk to me." She said agitatedly and Alex nodded sadly. "You're not any different, anyway."None of them were smiling after what just happened Louisa couldn't believe Ryan. He didn't want to admit that he did something wrong and it's only worsening how she felt right now. How dare he? Is that who she'd have marri
Louisa:Gosh the guts of this asshole."One silly mistake? You're hooking up with other ladies for gs....""I'm sorry, Louisa. I know I messed up," Ryan said, his voice laced with a charm that only infuriated me further. "It was a mistake.." "A mistake? You call cheating on me a mistake?" I spat, my anger boiling over. "You're not even sorry, are you? You're just sorry you got caught."Ryan took a step closer, his eyes locked on mine. "Of course, I'm sorry. I love you, Louisa. You're the only one I want to be with.""Save it, Ryan," I snapped, rolling my eyes. "If you loved me, you wouldn't have been hooking up with those...those..." I couldn't even bring myself to say the words.Ryan sighed, his expression turning contrite. "I know I messed up, but I promise it meant nothing. It was just a stupid mistake, a lapse in judgment. I swear, it'll never happen again."I laughed, a harsh, bitter sound. "You expect me to believe that? After everything you've done?" I shook my head, feeling a
Louisa:"Ma'am Louisa!" The maid Maria gasped in unconcealed shock. She nearly dropped the bowl she was holding as she stared at me nervously. "Are you... is ... you're awake?" She asked in a strained voice. It looked like she was going to pass out. She certainly didn't expect to see me– awake and well!"Yeah, so get the fúck out of my way "I growled, clenching my fists. She shot a despairing glance at my clenched fists, ready to strike if she tried anything, and moved away, terror still evident in her eyes.Good. Because, so help me, I would've barreled right through her. I was so pissed, hot waves of anger filling my insides like acid. Ryan had fúcking tricked me, lying to me right from the beginning. How dare he?? Those assholes! I want nothing to do with them anymore. It was over. I was done being a pawn in their stupid games. It turns out, no one can be trusted Then there's Alex....With the maid out of the way, I rushed out through the gates, walking home, trying so hard to si
