Ellie’s POV

"What are you doing here?" There was a tremor in his voice.

Sydney's reaction was startled when she turned to see me. Her eyes widened in shock so she stood up at the same time. She was holding the back of the chair while looking at me.

Even its companion could not believe that they were facing me now. They never thought I would catch them here. That in the crowd, they will still see me in this restaurant. Well, I was also surprised. We were both just surprised. After all, I should have been the most surprised of them.

I mean, they really have a connection. The reaction of the two of them was not normal. If they have nothing to hide, this is not how they will act.
