Richard's POV

"Why, Mr. Mayer? Let Krystal speak her mind so we can all hear it here. And you can act as the judge or arbiter of our domestic situation," I told Mr. Mayer.

The far-sighted Mr. Mayer shook his head firmly with both fists clenched before his mouth.

Of course, this old man must have guessed that things would only get worse if he let his empty-headed granddaughter open her mouth.

This place was like a court of law. Krystal's position in this court was not safe. It would be better if Krystal kept her mouth shut before things got even more chaotic.

Mr. Mayer seemed to be thinking about something before finally glancing at me and asking.

"I trust you won't talk nonsense. I won't be able to help Krystal if you do have concrete evidence. Then what steps do you want to take now? Considering you're not even in the same house anymore."

Mr. Mayer and Krystal's gazes were both fixed on me. I let out a long sigh. This question finally came up, too.

"I want a divorce."
