Cora phoned Brian excessively but nothing and it bothered her. She wondered why he was ignoring her and it infuriated her.

She sucked from a straw the coffee she ordered and leaned back against the chair. Looking at the door at any sudden chime of the bell expecting Brian to walk in.

She sighed since deep down she knew he won't come. She messaged him too but of course, he should also not give a damn about her messages.

She shudder to wonder why he was being that way toward her or did he find out things about her. Did he investigate who she is and ended up left in the lurch? It had to have been the circumstance.
