Chapter 41

Brian entered the coffee shop and spotted Alex so focused on his tablet. He's been wondering what serious conversation Alex wanted to lay on the table. He knew everything with Alex was serious.

He walked toward the table and sat down. "So, I'm here."

Alex dropped the tablet on the table and looked at him. He wanted to hit the nail on the head. "The last time we talked, I told you about someone who seems to be after your daughters. I told you I know you know who is after them."

Brian grimaced, looking confused. "Yeah, but I didn't get it."

"Who took your girls away from you?" Alex questioned.

Brian sighed. "It was someone I know who has a vendetta against me. Although there was no evidence to prove it, I know he kidnapped my children."

"Who is he then?" Alex inquired.

"Jacob Jefferson. Once a friend, then he became an enemy."

Alex bobbed his head, digesting his words. "Jacob Jefferson. He's the boss."

"What boss?"

"The mastermind. The reason why everything happened. You must have thoug
