Andrew came inside and stood outside her room for a long time. He hand his one hand up to knock on the door but he was still hesitating. He heard her sobs from the inside and let his hand fall.
He sighed deeply and moved his hand through his wet hair. He leaned beside the door for a long time listening to her cry out.

Ashley came back after a few hours and found Andrew sitting on the porch, drenched.
“Oh my, what happened to you? Why are you wet?” she asked coming in front of him.
“Clara pushed me into the river and I had no clothes to change into.” He told her.
“Miss Rose did that?” she asked surprised.
“Yes. Well… I did say something that I shouldn’t have said.” He said looking at his hands.
Ashley smiled gently and patted his back.
“All couples fight. Fighting brings them
Andrew stopped his car in front of his company and looked at Clara. "Will you park the car for me?" he asked her. She nodded and got out. "I would have given you a ride home but a-," he said also getting out. "Don't worry about it. Just go and take care of the problem." She told him. Andrew nodded and ran inside the building. Clara got in the driver's seat and took the car to the parking lot. She sat inside the car and thought about how she could help him. She was still thinking when she saw Drake pass by. He was speaking to someone on the phone. She got out of the car. "Mr. Bloom!" she called out and walked towards him. Drake looked back and was surprised to see Clara. "I'll call you later." She heard him say before he hung up. "Clara, what a surprise!" Drake said cheerfully and hugged her which surprised her. "Uhh... nice to see you too, Mr. Bloom." "Just call me
Clara after signing the contract helped Andrew with his problems. She was still unsure why he had her sign such a contract. She thought that he must’ve lost his mind during the crisis. As soon as she started working she totally forgot about the contract. She was completely focused on the work at hand.Andrew and Clara worked together to find a few small solutions. They worked for hours and eventually forgot to eat anything. Hours went by quickly as they were so immersed in their work.•••Andrew's eyes felt tired from looking at the screen for a long time. He looked at the time. It was 4 AM already. He had worked the entire day without resting for a bit. He closed his eyes and rubbed them gently. Then he looked at Clara.Clara had fallen asleep on the sofa, in a sitting position, while reading a document. He got up and silently walked up to her. He took the papers she was holding in her hand and laid her down on the sofa
Andrew’s father looked at him furiously.“Is this any way to speak to your father, especially in front of an outsider!” His father said angrily. This statement hurt Clara a little.“She is no outsider. The only outsiders in this room are you two.” Andrew pointed at his dad and his secretary.Andrew’s father was holding his cane in his hand. He was so furious at him that he raised his cane to beat him with it. But it never hit him. Clara had gotten up and stopped it before he could hit him.She forcefully took the cane out of his hand and broke it into two pieces. She then threw it in front of him angrily.Everyone in the room looked at her in shock, especially Andrew.“You are not allowed to hit my fiancé, especially when I’m around.” She told him angrily.“He is my son and he is mine!” David (Andrew’s father) said in a loud voice.“He d
Clara sighed as she sat in the chair. “What a mess.” She said. She took her laptop across her desk and saved something on it. “Well, this would be enough if Angel can’t find the culprit in time.” She said. Just then David came back in again with his secretary. “Miss Rose you are no longer needed here as Mr. Bloom has been arrested.” His secretary told her, acting all high. “You shut up. Who gave you permission to speak? And doesn’t he have a mouth or did he just lose his voice in these few minutes?” she asked him in a cold tone. She imagined that this is exactly what Andrew would have said. The secretary looked at her half appalled and half angry. “Look here Missy,” David said, “Now that Andrew isn’t here, this company belongs to me and you are intruding in my workplace.” Clara laughed. “Who said that this company or any of Andrew’s things belong to you?” she asked with a smirk. “You have
“Mr. Bloom. The court is starting.” The lawyer informed Andrew. Andrew nodded and got up. He felt a little anxious. The lawyer followed the police officer out with Andrew following behind. They sat at the defendant's table. Andrew looked towards the benches and saw his father sitting in the front row. He gave Andrew an evil smile but Andrew ignored him. He looked around the room to look for someone who was on his side but saw no one. He still believed that Clara would somehow find a way to save him. “Just remember what we discussed Mr. Bloom and everything will be fine.” His lawyer said flipping through the papers he was looking at. When it was time the Judge came into the courtroom. “All rise. The court is now in session.” The Bailiff announced. Everyone got up and silence fell in the room. The courtroom doors close as the judge sits in his seat. He tells everyone to sit down. “Does the defense table ad
She slowly opened her eyes and winced as her head hurt a little. “You’re awake. How do you feel?” Andrew asked looking at her. “My head hurts.” She told him slowly. She looked around and saw that she was in a hospital room. “Let me call the doctor.” Andrew said and went out. Soon he came in with a doctor and a nurse. The doctor checked her pulse etc. “How do you feel Miss Rose?” the doctor asked. “My head hurts a little.” She told him. “Give her a painkiller.” The doctor told the nurse. The nurse nodded and went to get the painkillers. “Well, there isn’t anything serious. You just have a small concussion on your head. You’ll be fine if you rest for a few days. If you feel anything else tell me about it.” the doctor told her. She nodded. The doctor left. She tried to get up. Andrew helped her. “What happened?” she asked him. “You know, I can’t tell if you’re just bo
Andrew came out of the bathroom in his bathrobe, drying his hair with a towel. He threw the towel over his shoulder and picked up his phone from the desk.He saw that he had ten missed calls from Clara and six messages from her.He opened the texts.‘Hey, Andrew thanks for the food. Why did you leave though?’'You bought so much for me. How am I supposed to eat it alone?’‘Andrew are you busy?’‘Did you eat?’'Andrew?’'Call me when you see my messages.’He put it back on the desk and laid on his bed.“Why do you even texted me? Text your man.” He said feeling annoyed. Then he suddenly sat up straight realizing something.“Wait. I am her man. She’s my fiancé.”“But she has her eye on someone else.”“No, no, no. Even if we are engaged because of a contract she is still my woman. I
Andrew cried for a while and when he was done crying he went to the bathroom. He didn’t notice that Clara had also quietly cried with him because he couldn’t look her in the eye. She wiped her tears away when he left and tried to calm herself down. Her heart was sad for Andrew. He had suffered so much pain and had been suppressing his feelings for a long time. She couldn’t imagine how much pain he was in. She took her phone and called Leo. “Hey. What’s up? Do you need something?” he asked picking up. “Leo can you do me a favor?” she asked. “Anything. Just say it.” He told her. She told him what she was planning. “Okay. But why so suddenly?” he asked. “No questions. Will you do it?” she asked. “Sure it’s not something hard. Jasmin will be very happy to hear this.” “If you need anything just tell Angel and thanks, Leo.” “No worries Clay.” He said. She hung up. A few minutes later An
