Chapter 43
Andrew and Leo went back to the hospital Clara was admitted at. Leo went inside her room while Andrew sent the voice recording to the detective. After that, he also went inside the room. Clara was still lying unconscious on the bed.
Andrew sat beside her on a stool and held her hand.
Jasmin looked at him sadly. She tugged on Leo’s shirt. Leo looked at her. She moved closer to him and whispered something.
Leo nodded.
“Andrew, do you mind staying here with her? We need to go and check on our girl.”
Andrew nodded without looking back.
“I need to go to the office too. It must be hectic there.” Angelina said.
“I’ll call if something happens.” Andrew said as he looked at Clara.
Everyone left the room. It was quiet and the only sound was coming from the heart monitor.
Andrew held the back of her hand to his cheek and looked at her.
“Wake up please, Clara.” He whispered and kissed the back of her hand.
