Ivan POV
It would be shameful to know that an Alpha is scared of spiders. Like I fought with dangerous supernatural beings and what I'm scared of are spiders?
That is in fact shameful.
But in front of my mate, I couldn't hide that fear that was numbing my body to stone from toes to head.
"Ivan! Hey, hey. Look at me." She cupped my cheeks, making me gaze in her warm brown orbs which were hypnotizing.
"Listen to me. It's just... um, think of it as a toy. A giant toy."
I saw the spider behind her grow slowly into a giant spider and though I love my mate so much, I would really like to clasp her mouth shut before the spider becomes into a vicious one.
