On his birthday, Ravi Lazy Arsenio asked for an original plea while blowing out candles on a birthday cake to bring down an angel in his life. When Ravi headed to his room the same day he was startled by a strange man being in his room wearing only leather trousers. The man named Raymond said that his life belonged to Ravi whose purpose of his arrival was to take care of Ravi as well as help him in all of Ravi's lazy daily life, evidenced by a large tattoo bearing Ravi's name on his chest. Ravi wants to report it to the police but undoes his intentions when he finds out there's a big secret they have to cover up about Raymond that comes out of nowhere. Plus Raymond's behavior like children under five years old who cry easily, there is something that surprises Ravi is that he has big wings, black and soft, coming out of his back. Not only that, Raymond always shoots scents that almost make Ravi lose control of himself. Raymond's arrival also makes Ravi's life more complicated than before which leads him into a big problem that Ravi never imagined. Who exactly is Raymond? What is the real purpose? What dark past did Raymond and his family try to hide from Ravi all along?
View MoreRavi Lazy Arsenio unlocked his bedroom door and was surprised to find a scattering of black feathers covering the gleaming wooden floor. He stared at the tightly closed window, through which the morning sun's rays penetrated the transparent glass. The dark-haired man stooped down to pick up a feather in front of him, which felt softer and thicker than any bird feather Ravi had ever touched.
Ravi sniffed the air, which seemed to swirl around him, caressing his senses with a sweet scent of melted chocolate and a faint hint of freshly fallen rain. Taking a deep breath, he allowed more oxygen to fill his lungs; he had never smelled this unique combination before. He realized that the feather he held between his fingers also carried the same scent, only more intense, as though the aroma emanated from it. Ravi was almost lost in himself, forgetting about the state of his room, captivated by the intoxicating fragrance, until a sound shattered his thoughts.
Creak!
The sound of rustling sheets made Ravi's head jerk towards his bed, his eyes widening in surprise, and unconsciously, he took a step back. A large lump was shifting within the messy blankets on his bed. Ravi's heart raced, pumping blood rapidly through his veins. Instead of fleeing, he found himself fixated on the lump, curiosity driving him to uncover whatever or whoever was suddenly in his room.
Ravi's eyes darted around, searching for something to defend himself with, and he found a tennis racket hanging on the wall. He moved cautiously to grab it, took a deep breath, and silently prayed for his safety, not knowing if there was any danger lurking beneath the blankets. He prepared to pull back the covers and confront whatever awaited him. Ravi gripped the edge of the blanket and began counting in his head.
But before Ravi could count to three in his mind, the figure surprised him first, causing him to instinctively retreat and press himself against the wall. The figure stood tall on his bed, still covered by the blanket.
Ravi could feel his own breath racing and echoing in his ears. He bit his lip as he watched a hand, tanned and strong, emerging from under the blanket, struggling to remove the obstruction covering the body beneath.
Ravi's breath caught in his throat as the figure revealed itself, accompanied by a strong, delightful scent of chocolate and the heavy scent of rain, filling Ravi's room until he felt suffocated.
Ravi's eyes widened as the figure, a man in black leather pants, remained standing on his bed, still covered by the blanket. The first thing that caught Ravi's attention was what was imprinted on the man's chest. In bold black ink on his tan skin, Ravi's name was written: 'Ravi.' Who was this person? A stalker? Ravi shivered at the thought. Why would this man have Ravi's name written on his chest?
Ravi had no idea who this stranger was or how he had managed to be in his securely locked room without a balcony. This man had suddenly appeared in his room right after Ravi had celebrated his birthday with his family downstairs. The man remained standing without making any movements.
Ravi's gaze slowly traveled up to meet clear gray eyes on the right and golden ones on the left, staring directly into Ravi's with an unsettling intensity. Ravi stood frozen, feeling the air grow heavy around him as those eyes seemed to draw him into a different dimension. He almost forgot who this person was and felt his knees go weak with just one look. He might melt at any moment.
The man's black, unruly hair stuck out in all directions but seemed to fit perfectly on his head, with a few strands covering part of his thick eyebrows. Ravi's gaze automatically dropped to the man's lips, which tugged at the corners in a way that was both enticing and strange. Ravi was jolted back to reality when he heard the bed squeak, and he realized that the man had stepped down onto the floor. Only then did Ravi notice how tall the man was, towering over him.
Startled out of his reverie, Ravi raised his tennis racket and pointed it at the man's chest. Ravi wasn't afraid of this man, who didn't appear to pose any immediate threat, but he still needed to protect himself. He began to ask, "Who are you?"
"Raymond, Ravi," the man replied almost instantly. Ravi furrowed his brow upon hearing the deep, resonant voice, which seemed to belong to a man named Raymond, as he stared into Ravi's eyes.
"How do you know my name?" Ravi struggled to keep from breathing too often, as the overwhelming scent filling his room might affect him in ways he couldn't fathom and felt deeply unsettling.
"It's a natural occurrence. When I was a teenager, memories of Ravi slowly surfaced on their own. I was destined to be here, Ravi," he said lightly, his lips curving into a smile. This time, Ravi's gaze sharpened as Raymond took a step closer.
With a firm grip on the tennis racket, Ravi pressed it against Raymond's chest to keep him from getting any closer. If he took one more step, Ravi promised he would call the police immediately. Ravi didn't understand why he hadn't called his parents upon seeing Raymond and why he was handling this stranger on his own, as if Raymond weren't a potential threat. "What do you mean by 'destined'?"
"Ravi asked me to come, so here I am. It doesn't matter that it's not yet the right time, because if Ravi hadn't called, this meeting wouldn't have happened so soon," Raymond said, speaking in a soft, almost whispered voice that Ravi could still hear clearly.
A furrow appeared between Ravi's eyebrows as he couldn't comprehend the last sentence from Raymond. He saw the sincerity in Raymond's different-colored eyes, which were now welling up with tears. But Ravi didn't understand when he asked Raymond to come. Ravi didn't even know Raymond until he suddenly appeared and stood before him. It all seemed nonsensical!
That Daniel was his father was still something Ravi couldn’t accept or believe. It was the kind of thing he had only ever seen in the dramas he used to watch on television, and now, somehow, he was living in one. How ridiculous.Ravi admitted to himself that his ego was far too big, swelling each time he was confronted with Daniel. A lie that had been fed to him his whole life had wounded him deeply when he finally learned the truth not from Daniel, but from someone else.He no longer knew what was right or wrong. He couldn’t even tell where he was supposed to go from here. It felt like he didn’t recognize himself anymore. And the fact that a part of him was the same as Daniel that he was an elf was even more shocking. Ravi looked nothing like other elves. He looked like an ordinary human.Everything was happening so fast. It felt absurd. At least he was relieved to know that Raymond was safe. He had begged Daniel to give Raymond a proper room, a comfortable place to stay. Ravi didn’t
With a glance, Ravi looked at where he was now. It was not much different from what was in Adrian's room, but it was even more spacious and had the things placed as they should be.So, is it true that Daniel is an elf? Ravi wouldn't even know about this fact if Raymond hadn't come into his life, he would have accepted the lie continuously."This is your room, Ravi."Ravi immediately turned to Daniel. "I don't want to be here.""No. It's night and now Ravi lives here.""I want to go home. Not here." Ravi threw the clothes that Daniel was wearing on the floor. It wasn't very comfortable to dress like this with someone he previously knew as his brother. However, Ravi could not accept any kindness that Daniel wanted to give him. "Where's Raymond?""Ravi, you want to dress like that here? It's not even a man's clothes." Daniel walked to the large wooden cabinet in the corner of the room, picking up the clothes there. It was as if this place had indeed been prepared for him."Who wants to b
Ravi moved back in surprise, at night and also among the trees in the unknown forest, Raymond even had time to think of such things in this place."Your stomach is hurt, and we're in a forest that I don't even know where. How can you say those things, Raymond?" Ravi complained to Raymond tiredly."My wound will be fine," he said. However, after Raymond said it, Ravi was once again shocked when his neck was grabbed and Raymond pulled him closer, he automatically held his breath in surprise as he felt the heat of Raymond's body pressing against him. The scent of chocolate wafted around Ravi's sense of smell and he was terrified if other elves could smell the scent of chocolate coming out of Raymond's body at this time."He left another dirty mark on Ravi's skin." Raymond's increasingly heavy voice touched his skin. He rebelliously moved backward, away from Raymond's touch with a hunting breath. Raymond sees the sign of the kiss that Adrian forcibly gave Ravi earlier on the neck and Raymo
Ravi always knew Raymond would come to rescue him from Adrian's grip. Raymond wouldn't leave him here; he had promised Ravi."Marvos? No one invited you here."Ravi heard Adrian call out, and there was no one else there but Raymond, which meant Marvos was Raymond. Had he been the one accused of killing people outside? Raymond, the one Ravi knew?Ravi's darkening eyes caught traces of blood staining Raymond's body, making everything clear. Ravi's vision blurred for a moment when a shove from Adrian sent his back crashing into the man's sturdy chest. He resisted, but Adrian's arm was tightly wrapped around his neck, making it difficult for him to move and break free. His eyes were fixed on Raymond, waiting for him to come to his rescue, but Raymond stood there as if rooted to the spot. However, the rebellion in those eyes sent shivers down Ravi's spine. Adrian must have done something to Raymond.Ravi felt a surge of panic as Adrian's hand landed on his thigh just below Raymond's gaze.
"You won't be able to do anything to me. You won't," Ravi said, confident that Raymond wouldn't leave him here with someone as wicked as Adrian."Your confidence doesn't impress me." Adrian's cold voice made Ravi's gaze sharpen towards him.Ravi scoffed. "And who are you anyway? I'm not here to impress you."Ravi wanted to say more to insult Adrian, but the man instead delivered a hard slap to his cheek. Ravi didn't flinch or show his pain, which only seemed to satisfy Adrian even more.Adrian growled angrily and once again grabbed Ravi's neck tightly, overwhelming him to break free. "Don't you dare raise your tone in front of me? You're just a speck of dirt under my fingernail.""In that case, let me go. If you find humans disgusting, don't bother dealing with me." Ravi disregarded Adrian's warning. He dug his nails into the man's skin until Adrian released him, but not without leaving a smirk on his lips."I am a king, shouldn't you feel honored to deal with me?"Ravi wished he coul
As Ravi opened the door to the restroom in the supermarket, he was startled to see someone greeting him with a smirk, and at that moment, Ravi regained full control of his body."Hey, how long has it been since we last met?"Ravi flinched, stepping back away from Adrian, who stepped forward, getting closer. Why was this man bothering him again? Adrian seemed to be everywhere, able to control Ravi's body even when he fought against himself.Adrian's hand waved quickly in front of Ravi's face, accompanied by the sound of the door locking behind him. Ravi immediately turned around and tried to open the door quickly, but it was all in vain as the door wouldn't budge. Ravi pounded on the door, hoping someone would come and find something wrong here. He hoped Raymond would realize his strangeness and come here to free him from Adrian."Why are you doing this?""Is this how you greet your enemies?" Adrian whispered right next to his ear, making Ravi shiver as he quickly turned and pushed Adr
