Chapter 11

Katie's POV

I have never felt more confused in my life. I was so ridden by dilemma, that I didn't notice the omega handing me another drink from the tray. It seemed to be the last one and the omega was awkwardly smiling—I think he thought it looked like he was being nice but to me, he looked like a creep with his receding hairline prominently being displaced under the bright light coming from the kitchen area.

“No, thank you..” I waved the half-emptied glass in his face. On last thought, I threw the remaining content into my mouth and decided to get rid of the glass. I never even gave it much thought, how I was just 17 and yet I was allowed to drink—but then again, who the hell followed the drinking rules? Every teen I know from the age of 15 and above has at least had their lips around one alcoholic beverage bottle to multiple scary numbers.

The omega excused himself, giving me some proper time to think.
