Chapter Three- "Two Worlds Apart."
An agaped housekeeper stared at the human figure before her. Well, it was a man quite alright, a burly well built one at that. He seems to have acquired the highly sought after body of 'one who lives at the gym.' Apart from his nice stature, everything else was a total no, no. Nada, not coming anywhere close to Lady Lucinda's ridiculous standards.
His well defined masculine body which seemed to be his only saving grace can't even make up for the fact that HE wasn't at all the guy they had all envisioned Katniss' fiance to be.
I mean, he was far beyond expections. Where was that glow and glimmer? The razzle and the dazzle? The riches, the golds and diamonds? The flashy entourage and the fleet of ridiculously expensive rides? Where was the flare? The rich guy pizzazz? Where was all of that?
Clearly the man in front of Housekeeper Mary possesed none of those, not

The gory sight had Katniss’ mobility rapt as she stood transfixed at the spot. She was moon-eyed and agape with fright and shock, she was indeed scared to her bones.Her eyes were glued to the unpleasant scene as for some reason, she couldn’t take them off the sight. She had a strong phobia for blood and seeing this much amount of it at once was just too much for her body to handle. She began to profusely sweat as her body started to quiver. She needed to get out of there fast or else she might spaz out as a result of the phobia. But she couldn’t move neither her arms nor legs, she was frozen, stuck in place like a statue.“What to do?” She wondered and reasoned then finally came to a quick conclusion that pain could snap her out of this dazed condition. But how? She couldn’t move her body so how was she going to induce pain on herself? She needed to leave this place quick

Katniss smirked haughtily to herself as she made her way to the room where the security computers were kept. She had done a good job, a great job even; disguising herself as an investigative officer and fooling that Clara of a girl was no small thing. Up until now, she didn’t even know she had that great feat of acting skills and she wondered if she’d make it big as an actress. Hmm. Noah had always told her she’d look good on television and it seems he wasn’t too far from the truth. Katniss sighed sadly at the thought of Noah as the complacent smirk faded away. The room was rendered almost completely dark as it was only lit up by a standing night lamp right next to Katniss’ bed; all the windows were shut and the blinders were closed and none of the light switches were turned on as well. Katniss had now come to enjoy the darkness as lit up rooms now irritated her.The floor was littered with empty bottles of alcohol, stubbed out cigarette sticks, wraps which previously contained cocaine and other narcotics, packs of valiums and other sedatives, empty and nameless medicine bottles that previously contained God knows what, and used syringes.
