Burangar

"Eida has been pooling too much demon Essence. At this rate, she's going to burn her body".

Master Damien looked at her.

"We have a war on our hands. What do you want me to do? ", she defended herself.

"There is no war. Not until I say so".

"You're scared of the humans".

"No, Eida. I'm scared of what you're going to do when you don't get your way".

"My entire clan got slaughtered because of them", she said angrily.

I watched on they fought with words. The fight was getting more intense by the minute. I had to do something, or else...

"You are going to stand down", Master Damien said angrily.

"No", Eida said. Her Demon Essence started to glow up.

"Eida. Calm down", I begged.

"No! ", she screamed.

Master Damien withdrew his scythe.

Guards flooded the room.

It was Eida against all of them. She was a formidable fighter, but the Reaper was not someone she could take on.

I closed my eyes and concentrated all my Demon Essence.

    Narrator's POV Somewhere Secret, Alpine CoveWhen the Captain had burst in and heard the alarms, he'd expected to see armed guards waiting, but everyone was in a frantic rush to escape from the building. Someone, or something landed from above, hitting him with great force. It was Harver. A Mito infested Harver. He tried to move, but he couldn't. Harver had psychically rooted him to the spot. Harver rushed at him, but fortunately Joe came to his rescue, jumping in. They struggled, the Mitos coming from Harver's body and entangling Joe. Joe's Demon Essence charged up, burning the Mitos off. Joe kicked Harver from him, but before Joe could blink, Harver was back on him again. He pushed Joe to the floor, the Mito trying to enter Joe's mouth. He struggled. "Do something! ", he yelled to the Captain. The Captain tried to move, but he was still stuck to the spot. He started to run back, towards the army. The Mitos infested humans chased after him. They crashed into the incoming army, hoarding them. You dared to betray the king", he said, jumping off his horse. "He's the one who betrayed us. He's planning on controlling the Mitos for his own benefit. He doesn't care about you".
