Samantha’s POV:

Last night, Damien led to me to the guest room. I kept glancing at him and everything but he won’t even look at me in the eye. The air surrounding us was dead silent. I couldn’t contain my own emotions in front of him but he still won’t say anything, so I though of a little something. I looked down and purposely tripped  myself to stumble beside Damien. I shrieked as though I was really shocked and I even almost fell face down the floor. Luckily, my expectations were met. Damien caught me right on time, as he held my head and legs while leaning down to balance my body on the floor. 

I immediately grabbed his shoulder and we finally gazed into each other’s eyes. I smirked while his brows furrowed at me.
