Catherine’s POV:
“Ready?" Hunter braced his self and stood in his natural fighting stance.
“As ready as I’ll ever be,” I replied, slightly hesitant as I arched my back a little to make my body in the same level as Hunter’s.
Hunter, taking the offensive side, quickly sped up and charged right at me. I managed to dodge, but right after that Hunter reappeared in my view, as though he had been able to predict where and what I was going to do next. I felt as though he’d seen my every move, and his eyes always followed the motion of my hands, feet, and legs.
He pointed the edge of the arnis with a swish just one inch away from my face.
As expected from a warrior.
“HOW do you do it?” I asked, letting my frustration take over me as I failed yet again for the 34th time.
