I always knew Queen Felda was obsessed with me.

Sometimes, I almost fell for those olive eyes of hers, sharp, fearless, full of things she’d never say out loud.

Maybe I did fall. I won’t lie.

There were moments... dark ones, quiet ones when I forgot she was the king’s wife, and I was just a warrior. A fool who should’ve known better.
