Azul's POV

I stood to the side as her body was prepared with mixed feelings.

Of every possibility that I calculated, I never factored in her mortality. She always had a delicacy about her that used to appeal to me until I met Ginny’s mother. She was everything I needed and more but death had claimed her too soon from me.

Now this.

I sighed but kept my expression clear. This pack lived on gossip and Astra has given them more than enough to talk about. I have even begun to get some backlash from her outburst yesterday.

I rubbed my face with my hand. I was exhausted and more than ready to move on from all of this

But her words hit me as she cursed me out.

She was openly cursing any woman who would bother to give me companionship. What a bitch move!
