A war

The day went on well. Although there weren't many patients, I had fun attending the few who came around.

Soon enough it was lunch time. The door to my office was knocked and Alex stepped inside with a basket at hand.

" I told you I'll come over." He said with a smile and I rolled my eyes at him.

" I thought I told you not to tire yourself?" I replied. It's not that I didn't want to have lunch with him, it's just that he said it himself, he was busy with the Kingdom's affairs. I didn't want to be the one to distract him.

" If coming to you is tiring, then I want to get tired all the days of my life." Alex replied seriously.

I blushed at his words.

" Who would have thought the most feared Lycan could spew such cheesy lines." I countered.

" Only when I'm with the person I love."Alex replied and I blushed further.

" Let's have lunch." Alex said, placing the basket down. He then proceeded to take out food for both of us.
