The whole evening was spent with Alex as he got down with his work while I buried myself in reading the books provided for me.

Recorded inside was the source of a Poison that makes the bodies of its victim turn black.

It's a Poison that can only be found in the Lycan kingdom. Although the Poison brings no harm to the person, it can take a long time to reach one's heart and once it does, it kills the host instantly.

Turning to Alex, I could not help but wonder if he knows that one of his people has been harming the werewolves. I fought the urge to confront him, otherwise, I'd have to reveal that I have come across that Poison.

Alex would want to Know why I didn't tell him about it and the last thing is to have him question me.

But that didn't mean I wasn't going to ask him about the poison.
