" Did you sleep well?" I asked and watched as her eyes flickered with desire. I could see it spelled on her face. She was lusting over me and that made me happy.

I was satisfied to know that I wasn't the only one feeling these strange sensations.

After not seeing her the whole night, the first thing I did when our meeting ended with Valeria and Theo was to come straight to her room.

I needed to see her do badly that it was hurting with every second I stayed without seeing her.

She was like a drug I was unhealthy getting addicted to after seeing it, even without taking it.

I always knew that a mate could mess one's mind but I never knew it was this serious.

" Someone is eager to see their mate?" Leo teased me when I hastily left the meeting room and I could only glare at him.

" Why are you here?" She asked instead of answering my question.

The passionate look on her face was now gone, replaced by wariness.

Was she wary of me? But why?

I don't think I did anything to offend her
