Seraphina's POV

The Blood Moon was up. High. Everything felt different. The air smelled off. Like something was coming.

It was too quiet. Not right.

My chest was tight. I couldn’t get a full breath. Every heartbeat felt pulled ,like the moon had its hand inside me.

This was happening. I couldn’t stop it. Not tonight.

I reached out for the edge of the balcony. The stone was cold under my hands yet solid. The only thing that didn’t feel like it was about to fall apart. My grip hurt. But it was the only thing that felt real.

The wind screamed past me. It didn’t matter.

The real storm was inside me. Strength wild, dark, ancient. It swirled inside me, turning and pushing, clawing for release. And nothing I could do could stop it.

"Seraphina..."

Familiar, low, and urgently voiced, the voice yanked me out of my reverie. Fabian.

Turning, I gasped at his form, which flickered from inside the castle's torchlight. His stormy grey eyes fastened on mine, filled with worry and something deeper: fe

Seraphina’s POVThe air grew thicker and thicker, as if the earth beneath me was carrying my doubts. The shaking I felt was not caused by the cold, but rather by a force that seemed to pull me down from all sides. I felt an impetuous feeling among the ethereal and surrounding shadows, watching me with eagerness as they let me slip.He was from my youth, but he remained calm and collected. He moved around us like a whisper of fog, barely there but impossible to ignore. Then he stopped, a faint, cold smile pulling at his lips, and something strange flickered in his eyes, something that made my stomach twist.“Seraphina,” he said softly, but the way he said my name made the hairs on my arms rise. “You must go back to the past, my friend,” he said almost with jest." You were always meant to be mine."My heart hurt, it was too much, too fast and I felt it in my throat. In my head, everywhere. It wouldn’t stop Everything inside me was a mess, sure I wasn’t her anymore. I wasn’t the girl who

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King     The Hidden Enemy.

Seraphina’s POV,The wind blew in all directions, but I had minimal experience. The cold stone of the balcony caught my attention, and I felt my hands trembling as we held it close, with the Blood Moon shining above casting its haunting sun across the land. The presence of an inexhaustible force inside me was once again palpable. It seemed like it could no longer be repelled. It pushed against my chest, making it challenging to hold breath and hindering clear thinking. The result was unpleasant. It was happening again. It was gradually taking over the power I had hoped to maintain.' What was the reason for its length of time? I couldn't handle the combination of my hybrid nature, the witch's spellbinding and my wolf like fearlessness. I felt the Blood Moon calling me again, but it was a completely different experience. Stronger. “Seraphina”The storm I was picturing was lifted by Fabian's voice. I was so afraid to approach him in the doorway. I turned around to see him, ashamed. Wo

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Shadows Before The Storm

Seraphina's POV. The darkness of the night was unmatched. Blood Moon illuminated the land with its blood, but it did not seem to ease tension in the air. ". Each tree around Moonridge Palace seemed to move slowly, making every cut and twig its own sound. It felt like nature had a sense of urgency towards the impending tragedy that was being faced with me. I couldn't sleep. The dreams had started again. My mind was filled with recollection of the fight that occurred last night. Smoke and blood mixed, choking the air. Despite closing my eyes, the pictures seemed to be more vivid. The sounds of steel scuttling, shrieks, and wolves were all in my thoughts. The face of Tricia was the most significant aspect despite the chaos. She was one of the individuals in our group. A friend. A trusted ally. Nevertheless, I had recognized the appalling truth. We were presenting our most significant adversary, Rylan Thorn, with her guidance. She had betrayed us all.I threw and toppled in my bed, sw

The Circle of Life - Chapter 110Seraphina's POVThe winter night seared cold, but summer gusts howled along Moonridge.I stood at the edge of the Moon fire alone, though never truly alone anymore. My palm kept the life warm inside. Two heartbeats, two lives. Stormy and tangled in a hurricane they weren't yet born into.I should have been serene. Fabian's promise still rang in my mind—his promise to keep us safe, no matter what. But the wind spoke into the air; I was supposed to feel calm. Fabian’s oath still lingered in my thoughts, his pledge to keep us safe, no matter what came at all cost.Something was coming. And it wasn't serenity. My fingers touched the moss-covered runes carved into the grove floor stones—ancient Lycan symbols covered in moss, shining dimly in the moon. Once this had been a place sacred to the Nightfang pack. Now it vibrated with a magic that felt… wrong. Bent. Wrongful. The symbols beneath my fingers shifted faintly, as if aware of my touch, as if they were s

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Fabian's Promise

Fabian's POVThe pine and blood still wafted through the war tent. My claws throbbed from being bound up all day. I had killed too many of them this week to count, but none of it counted. The battle had been won, the rogues repelled once more. It didn't matter.Because Seraphina wasn't there. And the bond was destroying me.Every time the wind shifted, I imagined it carried her voice. Sometimes a whisper. Sometimes a scream.Gods have mercy on me, I did not know which was worse."Your Majesty," Louis came into the tent. "They've found tracks from the outlaw caravan near the Dead Pines. They believe it's Thorn's men. Possibly where they've taken her.My fist landed on the table before he finished. The thick oak cracked, maps spilling out. "I don't want maybes. I want her found."Louis did not blink. he never blinked. "And we will. But you must rest. You've hardly slept.""I don't need to rest," I spat. "I need Seraphina."His silence was a shriek. He did not believe she was alive. None
