Chapter Thirty Seven
Duncan’s POV
Duncan looked at Justin. “You and Colson have the second and third largest populations of rogues in your area. Will you do your part to ensure their safety?”
Justin nodded. “I will.”
Duncan looked at Colson. “I will.”
“And the rest of you, whose prepared to support the laws of the Pack Alliance?”
As Duncan glanced in their direction, they all said, “Aye.”
When he looked at Dylan, he asked, “What about Mora? Are you prepared to uphold the laws of the Pack Alliance?”
“Aye.”
Duncan stopped in front of Vex and looked him squarely in the eyes. “Vex, I know where you stand. We don’t need to pretend for the others. If I find out you’re responsible for an unprovoked rogue attack, I will make it my mission to bring you to justice at the tribunal. I am watching you.”

Luca lay in bed, awake. Tatiana was asleep cuddled next to him. He could feel her warm breath against his chest. Her muscles twitching occasionally as she dreamt. She lay with her body pressed against him. He chuckled to himself. Most of the time he forgot how sheltered her life had been before arriving at Kalaloch Pack. When she met Barnard earlier, she almost choked on her water. They saw a siren and a demon and she gawked like a schoolgirl. Tia was an enticing paradox that Luca wanted to spend many years unraveling, and he hoped he would have the chance. He enjoyed showing her around the city. She was giddy with excitement. Her eyes were bright, and her smile glowed. He wished he could see her like this every day, but the day after tomorrow, they had to head back to the Olympic Peninsula.
