CHAPTER 4

She picked on her food, while listening to the chatter between Zach and Mira.

*Looking for your necklace, come get it*.

She stood up and looked around her eyes met with his kael, he was sitting at the far end of the hall her necklace dangling infront of him.

*You bastard* she said in her mind.

“Calling him a bastard won't help” Mira said pulling her closer.

“But his…”

“Got your necklace?”

“Mira” she groaned” can you stop reading my mind”.

Mira laughed “ it's my ability, I can't stop, and besides I'll teach you how to block your thoughts it you don't ever want me to read it again”.

She sighed and turned to look back but kael wasn't there anymore just an empty seat and the top 9 chatting away, she scanned the hall and almost let out a tear when she didn't see him.

“Heyy..listen to me.”

“ Anyone who listens to you is making a mistake..” Zach cut in.

“ Coming from someone whose boyfriend serves food in the school canteen”.

“I don't know what's your stress with my boyfriend”

“Ohh you don't know..maybe if he hadn't made sure to ruin my last party's fun we won't be here”.

“ You still have that in mind”

“Can you guys just stop” Ava groaned “ this necklace is really important to me, it's the last thing my brother gave me before he passed” she let her eye down sadly.

Mira patted her back slowly “ I'm so sorry about that”

“Kael lives on the floor of the elites it's hard for you to get in…

“What are you even saying” Mira interrupted “ you want her to go to the floor of the elites”.

“Well it's the only way she can get whats hers”

“No…it's an absolute no”

“Yes” Ava chipped in “ Zach continue”.

“ The floor of the elites, kael lives at the upper floor, while the rest live down and to get in, you have to go strictly on invitation… which I think our lovely Mira here will be of help to you” Zach said eyeing mira.

“Me?” She asked looking between Zach and Ava “ it's an absolute noo you guys I just got an invitation from Denise and you know how much I've always wanted to get laid by him”

“Well she's a friend”

“I just met a day ago”

“But still she's a friend” Zach repeated eyes pleading.

“Aughhh fineeee, I'll help you but we'll go together I'll slip into Denise's room and you can do whatever you want but you owe me your fries”.

“Deal” Ava said.

It was evening already, they were both dressed up — the stopped infront of the house, the guard stopped them.

“Only one can go” he said.

“ What …I mean no, the invitation is for two”.

The guard took another glance at the invitation “ it clearly says here one..so whose going”

Mira groaned and reluctantly let go for Ava to get in, she slid into the halls perfectly — she could hear the loud music from almost each corner of the building like some party was going on.

“Life of the elite”she mummured and made her way towards the top floor, she used the stairs making it exhausting by the time she got there. Her eyes scanned the hallways, the door was half open she gently slid in.

Her eyes lit up when she was her necklace sitting on the table, she quickly grabbed it ready to leave but heard the sound of rushing water curiosity got the better part of her, she tiptoed slowly to the half open door.

Kael stood there taking a shower, his smooth back with a snake tattoo on it, his butt as he swayed to the rhythm of the music playing, she stood mesmerized— just then a little cat swept past her she screamed and kael turned.

“Ahhhhh” she screamed and ran out quickly, as she ran down the stairs the fire alarms triggered, she guessed he was the one — she knew using the front doors meant being caught she quickly dashed into a room.

She caught sight of a tree branch and quickly limped on it slide down perfectly and ran towards the dormitory, she collapsed on the bed immediately she got in.

“What the hell have you done?” Mira asked sitting beside her.

“I saw kaels Dick, she blurted before she could stop herself”

“You what…..ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” Mira screamed.

“ I heard that girll” they heard a voice and turned to see Zach at the window.

Mira signed “ don't you have better things to do than sneaking into my bedroom by night”.

“No I don't” he said taking a seat “ now girl continue tell us what happened I mean is it huge like they say you know ermmm”.

“Don't you have a boyfriend?” Mira asked Zach.

“And don't you have a guy you so desperately want to get into his pants”.

They stared at each other for a long time then said together”you know what fuck that…what the hell happened”.

“I..I got my necklace wanted to leave but then I heard water sounds and decided to check it out”

“Ohhh girll you are…” Zach interrupted.

“Can you just let her finish” Mira snapped rolling her eyes.

Ava let out a laugh “ you both are crazy, I just saw his dick and ran off I didn't wait to check the details”.

“Girll you ran off you didn't even get a hold of it”

“ A hold of it? He almost killed me” Ava said, standing up “atleast I got my necklace back” she took her hands to feel it.

Shit shed dropped it again in his room after the cat startled her,she smacked her forehead.

“What is it?”

“ I didn't get my necklace”.

“Jeez” Mira groaned “ i didn't get laid and you didn't get your necklace what a waste of my invitation”.

“Darlin it's not completely a waste..I mean she saw his dick ….his dick” they both squealed.

Ava shook her head and headed to the bathroom to take a bath, she was going to find another way to get her necklace for now she had to let it go. She sighed as she felt the cold water run down her lower back.
