She read the text again, contemplating on what to do..its been a week since she last saw kael or any of the top 20 she'd learnt they'd been on a mission and had only returned yesterday. And today she got a message about the necklace.

She knew it was kael but why would he want to see her in the library not any library the abandoned library. She slipped away quietly from the chaos and headed to the abandoned library using the location points on the school phone she'd gotten a week ago.

She arrived at the venue it was dark and dusty, she lit her phone touch and walked in.

“Kael” She called

A figure ran past her, she turned but saw nothing.

“Kael” Sha called again, a figure ran past her again— frightened she turned to leave the doors shut close, she panicked and ducked, when she looked up a figure stood in front of her.

“Frightened already” kael smirked.

“Are you crazy? Why the hell would you do that”.

“So I'm the one who gets startled and you don't” he said, she tucked on her clothes —then looked up.

“Not like it's big enough”

“What's not big enough?” He asked.

“Your.. your dick” she stuttered.

He snorted coldly, pulled something from his pocket, she gasped her necklace.

“Oh my gosh”

“Here” he said dropping it on the floor “I want you to stay away from me…I don't want to crawling back to me in the name of your necklace..I've seen girls like you” he spat.

“Girls like me?.. if you hadn't taken my necklace just maybe I wouldn't have to sneak into your room”.

He ignored her and walked towards the door then stopped “Ava Sinclair stay away from me” he warned again and walked off..

She sighed and tucked the necklace into her bag, finally she had a piece of her brother back again. She couldn't wait to get back and talk to him.

She sat across Zach and his boyfriend eating dinner, Mira had called in sick but they knew she'd gone to finally get laid by Denise.

She felt eyes on her, she turned to look and caught kael staring so much to stay away from him she snorted. Zach and his boyfriend kept kissing infront of her all she could do was endure — just then a guy walked over with a tray of food.

“Hii” he greeted “is this seat taken”

“Yes” she said.

“No” Zach said.

“Okayyyy” the guy said confused.

“Its not taken” Zach replied, the guy chuckled and got seated.

“I'm Paul” he introduced himself.

Ava nodded clearly uninterested, the guy awakardly went back to eating his food— a glass chimed in the hall and the hall fell silent. Kael stood at head of the hall. Ava seemed not to notice that everyone had stopped eating, she still kept on eating completely absent minded.

“Ava Sinclair” kaels voce boomed across the hall, she jerked and looked up. “Come here”.

“No” she protested but her body seemed not to be hers she felt herself walking towards him — mind control that was her brother's ability and now someone else was using it against her.

She fought to get in control but yet her legs stubbornly went to where he stood, he leaned closer and whispered.

“Eat like a starving human”

Immediately she threw away the fork and dug into her good, the hall roared in laughter— tears of embarrassment clung to her eyes as she ate like she'd been starving.

His eyes stayed on her as she ate till she was done, he didn't still let her go— he made her dance infront of the whole hall till he was tired then he made her kneel while he gave his announcements.

By the time the hall dispersed she was still kneeling her hands stained with ketchup, her face a pattern of dried tears.

“You can go” he said, she stood up completely humiliated walking down slowly— then she turned around.

“I hate you” she spat.

“That's not new..everyone hates me it'll take a lot to make yours different”

Her eyes burned in humiliation as she walked out of the hall with students taking pictures, she could feel his eyes on her as she walked past the hall doors. Zach hurried over and swooped her in his arms — he didn't stop till they were at a quiet place.

She burst out in tears immediately, she felt so humiliated Zach's boyfriend handed her a tissue. She looked up and muttered a thank you.

“What's your name” she sniffed.

He chuckled “Alex”

“ Thank you Alex” she muttered.

Zach could only slowly pat her back, offering words of comfort.

“He..the humiliated me” she cried.

“Come on girll your a sassy queen remember you put him in his place on your first day..you can't be crying now” Zach said encouragingly.

She sighed he was right, shed put him in his place and she could do it again.

“I've got mind control abilities too” she revealed.

“I know” Zach said softly.

“You know?”

“Yes I know..the night of the”

“Don't you dare..” Mira interrupted rushing over “oh my gosh” she exclaimed pulling her into a hug.

Ava could only keep quiet, he'd used mind control on her and she was going to do the same.
