Chapter Thirteen

The early afternoon sunlight hit her face perfectly as she looked up with eyes closed. It reminded her why she had loved this place in the first place. It calmed her, be it day or night. She was glad it had not changed ownership at all.

She breathed in so hard as the smell of earth, grass and just nature in general wafted to her nose and she smiled. Colin had brought them for an amazing picnic

"Okay, tell me the story."

"What story?"

"About you and Beau. You used to be close till sometime when I was ten or so..." Robyn said glancing at him.

"If I tell you that, will you tell me why you seem to always run away from him?"

"I don't run. I just avoid him."

"Uhuh. Especially when he is with someone else...."

"Fine, I will tell you."

Colin grinned at her. "Fair enough. So it started one night when our mum was arguing with Beau's dad. By then he was dad to both of us. It escalated and mum let slip that I was not his son. We were both shocked so we run upstairs to Beau's room and he was crying
