A flicker of profound unease rippled through the Woodcrest pack’s higher ranks staring at the Crown Prince.

Raul’s fury was palpable, a suffocating weight that pressed down on them, radiating pure, untamed danger. It was a force they had never before witnessed, a terrifying testament to a power beyond their comprehension.

Alpha Jermain cleared his throat, a dry, nervous sound, desperately attempting to grasp at a semblance of diplomacy, to regain some control over a situation spiraling wildly.

“Zela?” he echoed, feigning a clumsy confusion that rang utterly, painfully false. “You mean the Alpha female of Eclipse Moon? She isn’t here, Crown Prince. She left on her own accord. I haven’t seen her since she vanished into the forest days ago.”

He hoped, prayed with every fiber of his being that Raul, in his blinding rage, would somehow accept this flimsy pretense. But the Crown Prince was no fool, his intelligence was as sharp and unforgiving as his extended claws.

A Royal RevelationStunned, the Woodcrest high-ranking wolves stared at the Crown Prince, their minds racing to process the shocking information they had just received and to calculate its devastating consequences. If Zela truly was the Crown Prince’s fated mate, then their pack faced grave peril, and the immense destruction Raul had just wrought made terrifying sense.“Crown Prince,” Alpha Jermain stammered, his face flushing crimson. “There has been no official announcement of your meeting with a fated mate. Zela’s name was never linked to yours. Is she truly your fated mate? Do the Royals not typically choose a future Queen from the strongest, most influential packs?”His words, though framed as questions, carried an undercurrent of desperate challenge.Raul’s face twisted in a silent snarl, but before he could deliver a scathing retort, a she-wolf rushed towards the assembled group. She seized Ivor’s hand, attempting to yank him away from Lilias with a furious, desperate grip.“Iw

In Woodcrest …A chilling wind, sharp and unforgiving, swept through the dense, ancient forest surrounding Woodcrest. It rustled the treetops with a sinister whisper, a sibilant sound that carried the ominous promise of impending doom. Each gust seemed to vibrate with a terrifying message, a low hum of dread that permeated the very air.‘Lycans, Lycans, many of them! They’re heading our way, and their energy is utterly hostile!’Head Warrior Andre’s voice thundered through the pack mind link, each word saturated with uncensored fear and desperation. The entire pack felt it too, a tangible, crackling surge of dark, predatory energy pressing in from the distance, a formidable force of barreling toward them with ruthless, annihilating intent. The very ground seemed to vibrate with the Lycans’ approach, a low, foreboding rumble that preceded the storm.‘Get the elders and pups to the safehouse NOW. No hesitation!’ he commanded, his voice strained, raw with the effort to maintain control a

Alpha Female Zela’s Point of ViewOne last look at Amanda’s helpless form, and I forced myself to act, severing the thread of guilt that threatened to take over me. Perhaps it was ultimately kinder not to drag her any deeper into this treacherous mess. After the shift, I followed Lorainne, my wolf legs eating up the ground, moving swiftly through the dense undergrowth. Our run was faster, more urgent than before, and soon the sleek silhouette of the yacht came into view. A wave of relief washed over me as I scanned the skies, there was no sign of the Crown Prince’s helicopter slicing through the air.I shifted back into my human form, the cool night air raising goosebumps on my skin, before stepping aboard the polished deck. But I couldn’t resist a backward glance at the receding tree line, a silent farewell to the friend I was leaving behind. Lorainne’s gaze met mine, and a knowing, almost calculating smile played on her lips.“No worries, I disabled the helicopter,” she announced pr

A soft, insistent purring vibrated near my ear, dragging me abruptly from the depths of sleep.Disoriented, I struggled to orient myself, the scents and images of my surroundings merged into a chaotic blur. Then, like a fist to the chest, the chilling realization slammed into me with brutal clarity. The Crown Prince had played me. Again. He had known all along that I was hiding in the woods, foolishly believing he had truly left. His staged helicopter departure had been a calculated trap, designed to lure me back into his grasp. And now, once again, I lay captive in his arms, my senses betraying me, my desires reignited with maddening ease. His arms held me loosely now, the possessive grip of passion softened by the oblivion of deep sleep. Painstakingly slowly, I wiggled free from his embrace. I cursed myself inwardly. How could I have fallen for his tricks again? Repeatedly succumbing to this man’s seductive pull would surely lead to my ruin. And what explanation would I have for thi

Alpha Female Zela’s Point of ViewReaching the cave required a trek through several miles of dense forest from the highway. To avoid suspicion, we left the car at a gas station, just in case anyone noticed our absence from the Kingdom and organized a search party.“We can shift into our wolves from here,” I said, stepping out of the car. “The cave is our starting point to find Lorraine. My instincts tell me she’s lingering nearby, the bodies were found in that area.”Amanda nodded in agreement. We quickly shed our clothes, storing them in the car trunk, then shifted and sprinted into the wilderness. Although I hadn’t traveled to the cave from this direction before, I trusted my inner compass. And I wasn’t wrong, within ten minutes, the changing landscape signaled we were approaching our destination. On a hilltop, surveying the terrain, I spotted the Crown Prince’s helicopter. Amanda and I shifted back into human form, and I pointed toward the metal craft.“The Prince is in our path,”

Lilias inhaled deeply, composing herself. As she exhaled, a soft stream of white energy flowed from her lips, traveling in a straight line to Andrea and entering her nose. The moment it was absorbed, Andrea’s eyes snapped open, blinking a few times in confusion. Then, seeing the woman at the bars, she immediately recognized her.“Lilias!” Andrea exclaimed, stumbling to her feet. “Save me! Please! Alpha Jermain kidnapped me. He has already murdered some females. I fear the same terrible fate awaits me.”Carefully, Andrea stepped over the other sleeping she-wolves until she reached the bars, her voice trembling with desperate urgency.“I’m so glad to see you. I thought I would die here, far from my pack and my family. Please, quickly, open the cell door before the others wake up and see us.”Surprised, Lilias frowns her brows. She hadn’t expected such a self-serving plea, believing Andrea would show more protectiveness, more compassion for all the prisoners. But faced with this unexpec

It was a quiet, moonlit evening in Woodcrest.A gentle breeze softly moved the treetops of the surrounding jungle, creating a peaceful yet mysterious atmosphere. In the large, dimly lit meeting hall in the packhouse, the Alpha and Beta sat together with the top-ranking warriors, discussing the next steps to find and force Zela out of her hiding place.Yet, none of them knew the truth, that she was the mate of the Crown Prince, destined to be the future Queen of the supernatural species. A powerful force in her own right, she was not just a target, but a dangerous one.On Lorraine’s direction, they had searched the entire area thoroughly after her suddenly disappeared into thin air. They had combed every inch of the forest, but she had vanished completely. The last anyone knew of her, Lorraine had fallen into a deep sleep after, exhausted from the stress, especially after Zela had announced she was going to take a bath in the nearby stream. The Alpha was convinced that Zela had alread

Within Woodcrest …“The Alpha did… what?!”Lilias could scarcely believe the words Ivor had just spoken. She had been in Woodcrest for three days already, unable to leave. These last two days, she hadn’t encountered the Beta to discuss their predicament, the man remained in constant consultation with Alpha Jermain. The sole bright spot in this confinement was the extended time she could spend with Ivor, yet on the other hand, she gained no insight into the Alpha’s business.“Keep your voice low,” her mate cautioned. “He held a bloodletting ritual. She-wolves and they all bear a striking resemblance to Zela. He intends to force her to come forward. I don’t believe he realizes he’s also defying the Lycan Prince. Raul will absolutely not appreciate this challenge.”“Doesn’t he know yet that Zela is the future Queen?” Lilias asked, aghast. “What prevents you from warning him? By remaining silent, you’re giving him a valid excuse for his actions.”Ivor shook his head, though the weight of
