Chapter 11

Felix crawled through the dark tunnel, slowly and steadily. He struggled to continue, because it was really dark and he could not see anything. He only relied on his hands and his ears as he moved: his hands to feel where he was crawling to and his ears to hear, whatever maybe in the tunnel.

His hands were already dirty and bruised, since the tunnel was not only comprised of earth but dirt, rocks and other things he wasn’t even sure of. It was dark, so he couldn’t see at all. Felix could tell that the tunnel was dug manually, with some sort of crude digging tool, since the edges and surfers of the tunnel was rough and uneven, only managing to be on a level plane.

So far, Felix has not heard anything, it was like he was in a graveyard. At the moment he could only hear the sound of his laboured breaths, his heartbeats and the sound his body made as he crawled, dragging his legs through the tunnel.

Felix was uncertain of how long he had been moving, but to his own estimation,
