. I was breathing heavily because of fear and our closeness. The intense gaze of Nash was not helping at all. I gulped and tried to move back, but a big tree behind me blocked my path. I tried to run away from the side, but he placed his hand on both sides of me, caging me between his giant body and the tree. My heart missed a beat when he removed his mask. He was so handsome and smart… Everything about him was enough to make any girl fall for him and even die to make him fall in love with her. I forgot to breathe for a moment when I noticed every perfect feature of his face. His deep ocean eyes, sexy lips and perfect jawline… I'm sure the Moon Goddess must have taken a long time and great focus to create him. "Take a breath, human. Are you planning to die?" Daisy chuckled, bringing me out of my thoughts. "Na---Nash," I stuttered, feeling butterflies in my stomach… His closeness made it impossible for me to think rationally. "Shh," he hushed me. I shivered when he slammed his hand on the tree and moved closer to me. The person with whom I had felt safe was now terrifying my anxious soul. "Why did you run away?" he asked, gritting his teeth. It was obvious he didn't like my actions. "I--I got scared," I stuttered and bowed my head. He held my jaw roughly and made me look into his eyes. "Are you sure it's only fear, nothing else?" I frowned upon hearing his question. "Answer!" he shouted, making me flinch. He grabbed my arm with his other hand and pulled me closer, leaving no space between our bodies, not even for air. "When you told your friend that you wanted to send me away, I got scared,” I replied honestly, and a tear rolled from my eyes because of the pain. He loosened his grip on my arm and jaw, and I used this as an opportunity to distance myself from him. “Okay… but that still doesn’t explain why you ran away.” He said with a darkened expression. I pressed my body against the tree, making sure to keep my distance from him as much as I could. "I hate when someone wastes my time," he said through clenched teeth, and this time, instead of pulling me towards him, he moved closer to me. “Answer before I lose my patience and end up eating you alive.” My eyes shot up when I heard his warning. Tears welled up in my eyes as I realised this could be my last day on this earth. "Wh--What?" he snarled when I started crying in fear. "Do--don't eat me," I sobbed. He rolled his eyes. "I won't if you tell me why you ran," he shrugged. “Daisy said you wanted to send me away from this earth,” I muttered and bowed my head. Fear gripped my soul when he moved back, and I was convinced he was preparing to transition and eat me. “Please don’t kill me, and if you do, then don’t do it brutally,” I said and closed my eyes, waiting for him to strike me. I frowned when he didn't do anything even after a minute. I opened my eyes and saw him laughing, his fist pressed against his mouth to muffle the sound. "I wasn't,” he laughed and shook his head. He hit the back of my head lightly, making me frown. “I wasn’t going to eat you, idiot. If I wanted to kill you, why would I have saved you?” he asked while laughing. I pouted, realising I made myself a fool in front of him. I smiled when I noticed his mesmerising smile. He looked so handsome and cute. "You're too innocent to be the daughter of that wicked couple." My smile vanished when he mentioned my parents in the wrong way. “I dare you to use absurd words for my parents or insult them.” I growled. He stopped laughing and shook his head, then looked at his friend who was standing at a distance. “Look at her, Daniel. A moment ago, she was crying like a baby, and now she’s warning me, despite knowing it won’t take me long to cut her tongue.” he hissed and then laughed when I turned my head in another direction. I ignored him and started walking back towards the mansion where my biggest enemy, Sebastian, was living. I was sure he must be searching for me, but he didn’t know that this time, when we met, it would be his last day. “Where do you think you’re going, miss?” Nash asked, circling his arms across his chest and giving me an annoying look. “To kill the person who was the reason behind my parents’ death,” I said. He started laughing at me again. I ignored him and resumed walking, determined to take revenge for my parents’ death. "You can't go there," he said and came in front of me to stop me. I glared at him before trying to walk past him to continue my journey, but he held my hand and pulled me closer to him. "I don't like repeating myself," he said in a stern tone. “And I don’t like how you make fun of me,” I hissed and pushed him away using Daisy’s power. "Why do you want to go there where everyone wants to kill you?" he asked. “To kill the person who is the main reason behind my parents’ death. I won’t be able to stay at peace until I take revenge for them,” I said. "You're not going there, but to my pack. Daniel will take you there," He said as if I were his servant, bound to follow his orders. "You're not my Alpha, whom I should respect and follow” I snarled, glaring at him for ordering me around. “Leave my way" I hissed, furious at him for disrespecting my parents. He grabbed my elbow and harshly pulled me back to the place where I was standing before. We were both glaring at each other. "You have to follow my order," he said, gritting his teeth. I looked at his hand, which was holding me, and then at him. "Leave me." I said, clenching my jaw. "Make me do it," he grinned and started dragging me towards the border of my pack. I started struggling to release my hand from his grip but he didn't let me go. I even used Daisy’s strength but failed against the power of a trained Alpha. Daisy needed time to understand her energy and strength to support me, and Nash was using that weakness to his advantage. I bit on his hand to loosen his grip and get out of his hold. "You?" he growled and pushed me onto the ground, startling me. “You weren’t even able to free your hand from my grip, and you think you can kill Sebastian,” he mocked, then laughed at me. Tears brimmed in my eyes as I realised how weak I was, but I refused to shed them in front of him. I stood up and took my steps back towards the mansion, but he came in front of me and blocked my path. "It's my personal matter and you're no one to interfere or stop me," I said, pointing my finger at him. "If you don't want to help me... Fine, but you can't stop me," I hissed. His expression became pale upon hearing me. He looked at me and shook his head, making me realise I must have sounded selfish or stupid to him. He went completely silent. “I want my revenge, and I won’t be able to stay at peace until I cut off the hand that touched me,” I explained, revealing the reason behind my desperation. "He touched you?" he asked, raising his eyebrow. "He almost ra*ed me," I mumbled, hoping now he would change his mind and won't stop me… I was thinking he would help me to take my revenge, but he didn't show any reaction. He was cold as snow. "You don't care... Do you?" I asked as an unwanted tear rolled from my eyes. I thought he couldn’t hurt me and would feel empathy for me, but I was wrong. He broke my heart with his next words. “I don’t… Even if you die, it won’t make any difference to me. But it will surely make this world a better place to live.”Nora Pov's.I was breathing heavily because of fear and our closeness. The intense gaze of Nash was not helping at all. Nora Pov's . I was crying and screaming in pain as my wolf growled, making my head feel like it would explode. "You need to calm yourself," I heard Nash's voice. He was talking to my wolf, who growled at him in response. "I don't know the reason behind your anger, but give her a chance to explain herself before punishing her. It's not fair to punish someone without giving them a chance to prove themself." He muttered and took a step closer to us. My wolf glared at him until he placed his hand on her back and gently caressed her. Suddenly, everything went silent, and she calmed down. She licked Nash’s face like a loyal wolf, as if moments ago she hadn’t wanted to harm him or kill me. "Go through her memories and then decide whether she’s guilty or not," Nash whispered lovingly into her ear. She nodded and gave me control back, something I wasn’t prepared for. Before my na*ed body could fall to the ground, he caught me in his arms. Tears rolled down my cheeks. "It's okay... I
Nora Pov's . I opened my eyes when sunlight disturbed my sleep, feeling immense pain in my head. "Ahh," I whimpered and sat up straight. “She’s awake.” Someone’s voice jolted me from my sleepy state. I looked to my side, only to find two strangers sitting at a distance, watching me. Their faces were covered by black masks. "Who are you?" I asked, then looked around, only to realise I was somewhere in the middle of the forest. Sweat covered my body as anxiety gripped my soul. I took a deep breath and rubbed my hands together, trying to stay calm. “What am I doing here?” I asked, touching the back of my head and whined in pain. "Ahh... it's hurting," I mumbled. "That woman hit you pretty badly. It took my friend a long time to bandage all your wounds." The one who had announced I was awake spoke while his friend silently stared at me... I narrowed my eyes. "A woman?" I whispered. My eyes shot open as I recalled everything that had happened the night before. "My... My par--pare
Nora Pov . "What?" I questioned, looking at him, widening my eyes. "Don't look at me with so much love," he laughed and pulled me closer. I turned my head in another direction with disgust, trying to free my hand from his grip or push him away but he was stronger than I thought. "Your parents were cruel." I glared at him for uttering rubbish. "Don't say a word against my parents." Tears streamed down my face, even when I was trying my best not to cry in front of him. "You're his brother... How could you kill him?" I asked, still in shock. "They deserve it," he said calmly, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. "Don't touch me," I growled and looked into his eyes to convey I'm not scared of him despite the fact that my body was shivering with fear. "Why are you getting angry?” he chuckled. “Your parents were devils who ruined many lives" "Yeah and you're the most amazing person in the world," I mocked, laughing bitterly to show him I don't believe a single word he uttered.
Nora Pov . "Ohh My My... Look at our princess," my mom complimented me as I entered the hall where we were celebrating my upcoming 18th birthday. At midnight, I would get my wolf. The biggest day of every werewolf's life. "She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen," my dad said, extending his hand towards me. "I mean– after you," dad muttered, looking at my mom who was glaring at him. I chuckled seeing their cute and lovable chemistry. I want to have the same bond with my mate. I hold my dad's hand with a big smile on my face. "Let's go... Everyone is waiting for us at the dining table" He said, straightening his back. I nodded and looked ahead, stepping toward a new chapter of my life—though somewhere deep inside I know that something big is about to happen that's going to change my life forever. We joined everyone at the dining table. As Dad said everyone was waiting for us. My parents gave a wonderful speech for me that made my day even more special. Soon, dinner was
