She Will Kill Me

I open my eyes when sunlight disturbs my sleep, feeling immense pain in my head.

"Ahh," I whimpered and sat straight.

"She is awake" Someone's voice jolted me awake from my sleepy state. I look at my side, only to find two strangers sitting at a distance looking at me. Their faces were covered with black masks.

"Who are you?" I asked and then looked around, only to realise I was somewhere in the middle of the forest.

"What am I doing here?" I questioned and touched the back of my head.

"Ahh... It's hurting" I muttered, feeling immense pain.

"That woman hit you pretty badly. It took my friend a long time to bandage all your wounds." The person who informed his friend that I was awake told me while his friend was staring at me silently. I narrowed my eyes..

"A woman?" I whispered. My eyes shot up as I started recalling everything that happened last night.

"My... My par--parents" Tears welled up in my eyes remembering what happened last night and goosebumps covered my skin. I lost my parents in front of my eyes.

"No... It's a nightmare... I'm sleepy... Please say my parents are safe" I muttered, closing my eyes and shaking my head.

"I'm sorry... they are dead" He spoke in a bitter tone. I opened my eyes and turned my head towards them. That's when my eyes met with the person who saved my life last night. His eyes were red as if he was also in pain as I am.

Tears which I was trying to hold in front of them rolled from my eyes. He stood up and came near me without breaking eye contact.

"Cry as much as you want because afterwards, you won't have time to cry." He said and sat beside me, pulling me into his arms. I don't know what he meant by those words but I need this. I need someone to hold me in his arms so that I can let out all my pain.

"They killed my parents" I hid my face in his chest and started crying. He caressed my hair lovingly. After some time, he broke the hug

"It's enough," He said. I look at him with teary eyes.

"You cried enough... Now you should go to my pack" He said and looked at his companion. "Drop her near our pack border"

"I don't think it's a good idea, Nash... What if she" Before his companion could complete, my saviour stopped him.

"Do as I say" My saviour grunted in a low tone.

"Nash" I whispered his name. He turned towards me and his eyes softened as they met mine. He cupped my face and wiped my tears.

"We can't change what happened... You have to accept it. I know it is easy to say but moving on is a rule of life which we have to follow with or without our will." He said. I opened my mouth to say something and then closed it, not finding a word. He is right, I have to move on with the harsh reality of losing my parents. He again wiped my tears and caressed my cheek. There was something in his eyes which were assuring me if he was with me then no one could harm me.

"You have to gather yourself." He muttered. We both were looking into each other's eyes . That's when I felt a strange pain in my body.

"Ahh," I whimpered and held his arm to balance myself.

"What happened?" He asked, looking at me with concern. I look at him breathing heavily and sweating. My vision was turning blur and my head was spinning. He held my hand and encircled his other hand around my waist.

"Maybe everything that happened triggered your wolf... You're transitioning." I look at him.

"It's good your wolf is taking over. Your wounds would get healed" He muttered in a cold tone as if it was not a big deal. Well, it is not for werewolves but for me it is...

I look at him widening my eyes as this is the first time I'm transitioning into a wolf and I don't know a single thing about it.

"Wait... you're transitioning for the first time?" He asked, noticing my expression. Just like mine, his eyes shot up when I nodded.

"Arghh" I hugged him and hid my face in his chest, feeling immense pain in my entire body.

"Let her come out. Don't restrain her" he muttered. I look at him bewildered.

"You don't know a single thing about transitioning" He sighed and made me sit on the ground. He caressed my hair lovingly, looking at me with affection. Despite being in pain it was soothing my anxious soul.

"This pain will be over. You just need to let your wolf take charge. Don't restrain her by trying to hold yourself." He instructed me and wiped the sweat from my forehead.

"Now get on all your four"

"It's hurting" I sobbed.

"Do as I say" I nodded and followed his instructions. Soon my wolf took over and my transaction started taking place. 

"Ahhh" I screamed as all my bones started cracking.

"It's okay... This pain will be over" Nash whispered in my ear and moved back giving me space. I don't know what I would have done without him by my side. My bones cracked and my screams of pain filled the entire forest. It was getting unbearable and I almost gave up until everything became silent and pain started fading away.

"Wow," I heard his voice when I finally transitioned.

"She has a golden wolf" His companion uttered. Everything turned out to be like a dream. My vision and hearing power got a thousand times better. I closed my eyes and heard the sound of the voice of water.

"Let's go there" My eyes shot up when I heard my wolf voice in my head. The next thing I knew we were running towards the lake.

After a long run, my wolf stopped near the water and looked at her smile.

"You look beautiful" I was startled when I saw a wolf standing near my wolf, looking at our water mirror image. Soon that wolf distanced himself and morphed into a human.

"Nash" I called him and a big smile appeared on my lips after seeing him beside me.

"Ask her name, Nora" Nash muttered, indicating to me to communicate with my wolf but before I could do that she growled loudly.

"Her wolf is angry at her," Nash's companion said, looking at our side.

"And that's not a piece of good news. She will kill her." Nash replied, looking at me with concern. His words and expression confused me until I started feeling a sharp pain in my body with the angry growling of my wolf.
