I was crying and screaming in pain as my wolf was growling, making me feel like my head would explode. 

"You need to calm yourself" I heard Nash's voice. He was talking to my wolf who growled at him in response.

"I don't know the reason behind your anger but give her a chance to explain herself before punishing her. It's not fair to give punishment without giving a culprit a chance to prove herself." He muttered and took a step closer to us. 

My wolf was glaring at him until he kept his hand on her back and caressed her back. 

Suddenly, everything went silent and she calmed down. She licked Nash's face like a good wolf as if a moment before she didn't want to kill me. 

"Go through her memories and then decide whether she is guilty or not" Nash whispered, lovingly in her ear. She nodded and gave me control back for which I wasn't prepared. Before my na*ed body would've fallen on the ground, he held me in his arms. Tears streamed down from my eyes.

"It's okay... I got you" Nash said, hugging me. I hide my face in his chest, shivering and crying.

"Why? Why is this happening to me?" I sobbed. He caressed my hair.

"Can anything go worse than this? My wolf hates me and wants to kill me" I whimper. He shook his head.

"No... She doesn't hate you. I'm sure it's a misunderstanding. Golden wolves don't lose their calm easily and if they do then it's a huge reason." I looked at him with teary eyes and that's when I noticed he was fully dressed unlike me. Even his face was covered with a mask.

"When did you wear your clothes?" I asked and squirmed in his arms, feeling uncomfortable after realising I was naked. It's common for werewolves to get naked after transitioning but for me, it's not. This is my first time. He noticed my gesture and parted away from me to remove his shirt. 

"I had a royal wolf that's why I got back in the same form after the transition as I was before. In short, my clothes and mask were intact even after my wolf took over." He explained while making me wear his shirt. 

"You had a royal wolf?" I questioned and in response he hummed, wiping the sweat from my forehead. 

"Who are you?" I asked, looking into his eyes which are deep like the ocean. He looks into my eyes and smiles.

"You should first talk to your wolf and ask her why she is mad at you," He said. I nodded, understanding he didn't want to share anything about himself.

"I don't know a single thing about this man but don't know why I feel like I can trust him with closed eyes. Is he my fated mate?" I thought, looking at the man who was helping me when my people ditched me.

"No, he is not our mate," My wolf replied. My heart missed a beat, realising the hope to have someone to call my own got broken.

"Why are you mad at me?" I asked my wolf, focusing on the matters in my hand.

"Because you took wolfsbane just when I took birth. Moon Goddess gave me a human like you who doesn't even want me" She growled. I shook my head.

"No... It's a misunderstanding. I didn't take Wolfsbane. Someone else gave me forcefully so that you wouldn't appear and heal me. That woman wanted to kill me" I explained and started telling her everything about how everyone in the pack killed my parents and what my uncle was planning to do with me. 

"I'm sorry, you went through so much and I reacted that way" My wolf apologised and healed all my wounds. 

"It seems like everything got solved between you and your wolf now," Nash said with a breathtaking smile on his face.

"Yeah"

"What is her name?" Nash questioned and then looked behind me. I scrunched my eyebrow and turned to see what he was looking at but found no one.

"My name is Daisy," My wolf said. I look back at Nash.

"Daisy," I replied to his question.

"Such a beautiful name" Nash complimented Daisy, making her blush. 

"Thank you," I muttered.

"You're welcome" He replied and tucked the strand of my hair behind my ear. My heart missed a beat with his simple gesture. 

Suddenly, his expression turned into a stern look. He turned his head and looked at his friend who nodded his head. Don't know why I had a feeling that things were not as simple as they looked. These people are not helping me out of generosity.

"You're feeling like this because of the betrayal of your pack members but not everyone is cruel, Nora" Daisy said in a soft tone. I didn't reply and kept noticing Nash who had no expression on his face. Not to forget, he is still hiding his face from me like a coward.

"No... I can't put her life at risk" Nash growled at his friend, making me jump on my spot at his sudden reaction. He turned his head towards me.

"What happened?" I asked, my heart pounding in my chest heavily when I noticed the evil smirk on his friend's face. I gulped and stood up.

"Nothing," Nash snarled and stood up. I quickly took my steps away from him in fear. He raised his eyebrow at my action. 

"Nash" Before his friend could say something, Nash shook his head.

"No...She is of no use... It's better if we send her away" Nash said sternly. My eyes shot up when I heard what they were planning to do. 

"You're not thinking rationally" His friend grunted. Nash turned towards him. They both started arguing, forgetting I was still standing there.

"Why are you standing like a statue? Didn't you hear what they are planning to do with you?" Daisy's voice in my head brought me back to the world otherwise my fear almost paralysed me.

"Huh?" I frowned.

"Run idiot... He just said that he wanted to send us away, which means away from this earth. He is planning to murder us, Nora" She panicked, snatching the ground beneath me. My eyes widened when I realised what was happening. I quickly took my steps away from Nash.

"Run" Daisy growled. I picked up speed and ran as fast as I could but destiny wasn't in my favour. Nash noticed my absence and started chasing me. I hid behind a tree and closed my eyes, taking deep breaths.

"You really thought you could run away from me, little dove" My eyes shot up when I heard Nash's voice, only to find him standing in front of me, wearing an evil smirk on his face which was enough to show me my end is not so far.
