He adjusted her position one last time, then slid into the driver’s seat. Amber’s assistant climbed into the passenger side and fastened his seatbelt with a nervous grunt. When the assistant noticed Ken still staring at Amber through the rearview mirror, he snapped, “What are you waiting for, buddy? Drive! You can drool over her some other time! We need to get her to the hospital right now!” The words jolted Ken back to reality.
