CHAPTER THIRTY
"Are you up?"
Elena opened her eyes to meet a nurse standing in front of her. She was dressed appropriately, one hand holding some files, the other hand on Elena's forehead. "How are you feeling now?"
"I have a light headache," Elena replied, trying to get up. "Where's Luke and June?"
"I'll be right back. I'll inform the doctor and your relatives that you're awake."
Few seconds after she left, the door flew open revealing Sister Gemma, Daniel and his parents.
"Babe," Daniel called out as he rushed towards her to pull her into a hug. "I'm so glad you're fine. How are you? God, I was so worried."
"I'm okay," Elena replied as he pulled away, his palms stroking her cheeks.
"Elena, dear," Daniel's mum called her. "How are you?"
She nodded. "I'm okay."

Elena ran faster than her legs could carry her. She had been running since Kevin broke the good news to her- she ran to his car and now to June's room. She pressed the number in the elevator continuously making the other occupants stare at her weirdly. She couldn't care less as she impatiently waited for the elevator to arrive on the fourth floor. She pulled the door open, revealing June standing, gazing out of the window. "June!" She ran towards her, immediately pulling her into a hug. Elena Harper let out a groan as she turned off the alarm clock by her bedside. "Dude, I need to sleep." "I'm sorry," she mumbled to her roommate as she grabbed her toothbrush. Reluctantly, she stood up, her eyes lazily scanning all her roommates still sleeping. Seven sleeping peaceful souls. Why did she have to attend a private school? She let out a final groan as she crawled towards the bathroom. Her eyes ran through the huge signage on the bathroom door. AMIGO. She smiled. Elena had been living at Amigo for as long as she could remember. Amigo was an orphanage. It was established decades ago by catholic sisters and had been active ever since. Elena hadn't really bothered about how she got to Amigo-her parents were probably dead or didn't want her like every other person at Amigo.
