CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

Elena winced.

"Ow, my head," she groaned in pain as she looked around. Where was she? She looked around again. It was wide room with small windows covered by dirty curtains, making it suffocating. The paint on the wall was faded, different stains and marks plastered to it. There was a wooden table and chair at the corner of the room, several empty crates, bottles and cigarettes box laying carelessly around. It looked like an old abandoned room.

She tried to move immediately realizing her hands were tied. She wiggled, trying to free her legs that were tied too. She tried to remember how she got there but instead her terrible headache reminded her of its presence. 

"Oh my God," she whispered on realizing what had happened to her. She was kidnapped! Tied up and locked in a strange room too.

"Oh my God, June!" She yelled as she spotted June laying lifelessly on the floor few inches away from
